Nintendo has been pretty fucking resilient during this, as well as Sony.
You will not be making massive gains on either, but with the PS5 coming out at the end of the year I would probably put my money on Sony.
I also think that Japan will NOT let Nintendo fail.

Are you a long term investor? If so then Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft are good stocks.

Always invest right before the release of their consoles then dumb about a month later for short term - console sales always exceed analyst estimates every time so the stocks will rightfully rocket, especially during a November/Christmas launch window.

They seem very overvalued to me. Their marketcap in USD is about 7 billion. Whereas TTWO interactive is only 11 billion. I’d rather get the real deal than the polish knockoff at that price point

I got a share of Zynga for my robinhood freebie and i'll be damned but that thing is the most resilient fucking stock in my portfolio. I've seen red wedding days these past few weeks where everything is down, and theres my little zynga, comfy as fuck, always hovering somewhere around 6.70 something. Might go up or down a bit but its always usually around that area, usually green.

Not sure what to make of it desu.

VR gaming will likely take off as we deal with a couple years of social distancing and dead people.

Most people are not aware of the fact that social gaming in VR is really good for making it feel like you are actually hanging out with other people.

Half Life Alyx is a killer app. That game is going to get a lot of people to take the plunge into VR. I tried a friends VR rig recently, game called faces of fear and goddam it was mindblowing. The tech had come an insanely long way. VR and then AR, is the future.

Maybe, maybe not.
I don't know if game publishers will be necessary, now that physical discs are losing relevance. Now the game producers can self publish and self promote.
Consoles are only holding on because Microsoft/Apple/Android hasn't optimized their interface for the living room.
But games still have a bright future, because the audience spans 2.5 generations, with both genders in the last one, like it or not.

If GoG can produce more exclusives, maybe.
But it seems like Epic is biting the jugular and they're private.
