uh, why have all the billionaires and bankers changed their tunes all of a sudden? friday the end was nigh but today there's light? Aren't 90% of businesses still closed? Is the money printer wearing out?

They are trying to prevent or mitigate or take advantage of the dead cat bounce that is imminent.

"who cares"

The value of stocks care.

There is not gonna be "simply low earnings". Companies are gonna be their waist in debt, low on cash on a poor consumer activeness and high unemployment, mortgages defaulting ect

Also you are retarded if you consider the pre crisis level "normal". It was inflated as fuck. Even after this 30% crash and using the pre crisis fundamentals, the stocks are not cheap if you look in the history further than a few years.

However, the possible economic aftermath might have a long-term impact. With more people being unemployed the demand for the shit companies are selling will go down as well, which in turn might encourage companies to cut cost a fire more employees...

You're joking right? Big enough companies were at about this level a few months to 3 years ago for the most part.

Wish I had more cash to invest with right now, but my gut says to sit on cash and save.

April is done for, and May is looking to be the same. I don't think things will return to normal until June personally. I don't think we've hit the bottom of this yet...

this. its a domino effect. the entire economy will be downsized to essential services and goods only. i predict amazon.com share price will drop dramatically due to them being in the china trinket business. no one is going to be throwing money away on shit anymore. basic needs only. food. gas. electricity and clothing. everything else is secondary from now on. people will be using the same phones and computers for the next decade. and thats good. fuck consumerism. also alot of non essential jobs are going away forever. nail salons. restaurants. food delivery. etc. everything is going to be restructured and downsized as we enter the 2nd great depression.

It's when you talk down something to buy it cheap.
I'm not kidding about MS.
You'd be better off doing the opposite of what they publicly suggest, more often than not.
