After every hour of good hard work, I let myself have a drink if I stayed focused.
It's a good system, I remain focused and get a lot of work done. Until about noon, shit usually starts to fall apart after lunch.

I stress about it all week long, and wait until just a few hours before the deadline. Then I go into a panic and blow through all of the work in no time while listening to my lifting music playlist. You'd be amazed at how well this strategy works.
