"silver chads", prove that you're not pathetic balding manlets. me and my girlfren have been picking up FREE money from the street for the past year and the total has come in at £3.44. we're making money for FREE while you stare at your heavy old bags wondering how quickly your loved ones will sell them when you die. let's see how much real money /biz/ has really got.

there's plenty of good, reputable dealers on ebay. yes the premiums are high but you have to understand the new context we're in of infinite fiat printing and ZERO reserve banking. remember the years of people bitching about fractional reserve banking? what we're in now is worse than that. so yea, 30 filthy rectangular sheets of jewnited states dollars for a beautiful 999 or 9999 silver bar is still a great deal.

>> No.18239156

Reminder that this panic buying is just temporary. In 3 months when normal business resumes these panic stackers are going to be shit out of luck.

As an example (in the UK) there are 1kg Betts bullion silver bars with bids up to £595 right now. YOU CAN LITERALLY BUY A 1KG BAR FROM BETTS DIRECT RIGHT NOW FOR £508 GBP. IN STOCK AVAILABLE FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY NOW.

Don't panic stack. Buy when the price of silver crashes in 2-3 months

Serious question here. Let's say your fantasy of the world being knocked back to the dark ages happens. Let's also say you managed to find people willing to accept your gold and Silver in trade instead of other more valuable items like bullets. How are you going go give them a piece of your giant gold or silver block? You gonna cut off a piece and weigh it? What if they seem the whole gold brick to be worth only a bag full of apples? Will you give them the whole gold brick? After all your gonna starve if you dont trade. No point in killing them and stealing the food because that admits you are retarded for buying gold and silver and showing how worthless it is in a brutal dog eat dog world. What will you do anon?

Why not just invest in bullets? It's so much cheaper than gold and silver and will be so much more valuable in an economic collapse. Why would I trade precious resources for silver when bullets is what I actually need to kill the niggers who want to rob me

Consider buying foreign currencies like CHF or JPY. That's one way to hedge against trouble in one specific economy, while still holding something that's very easily convertible.

If you're worried about the Collapse of Everything, then you need to consider prepper/bugout/innawoods shit as much as buying precious metals.

Precious metals are in non-SHTF times simply a stable way to store wealth that doesn't rely on the monetary system. That's it. In every other way, they mostly suck since no-one except precious metals traders want them.

The only way precious metals are actually of any use for the average person besides as an exchange medium, is as jewelry and ornamentation. Benefits are that you can bling it up by wearing rings and shit that make you look like the pimp, bitches love it, and also impress dinner guests with your fine silver cutlery and vases or whatever. Unfortunately, jewelry and antiques are harder to exchange for cash than bullion. Upsides: they cross borders a little more easily: customs officials will confiscate your bars or coins, but you might get away with that gold or silver ring worth as much as $2,000.

tl;dr precious metals are the most stable way to preserve your wealth, but that shit is heavy, not that easy to exchange, and attracts attention (good if you want to pump up your ego, but bad if you don't want people to get jelly and steal it).

Crypto is the pseudo-gold zoomers love but at the end of the day it's not an actual thing that you own and is valuable. The fact that you don't have to hold a physical object to have it is good when trying to avoid the government, but potentially very bad if your main aim is just preserving its value against all eventualities.

True, but gold attracts attention like a motherfucker. If you discreetly carry your gold on your person somewhere no-one will notice obviously yeah you can easily carry as much as $10,000 around with you and no-one will know. But by the same token if you lose/have a single gold coin taken from you you're out like a grand.

Having gold on you is like being Frodo in LOTR or something.

Rio Grande jewelry supply claims to have it in stock but the order is still pending due to corona im sure.

17 bucks an ounce. I also have a basic metal forging and jewelry bench setup in my house. I 3d print shit and cast it into metal lmao.

Gonna make a silver pepe with LED backlit tanzanize eyes sorta like pic related that I am casting soon.

I 3d printed mold boxes, make silicon molds, then wax replicas, put the waxes in plaster and melt them out, and then pour in molten metal and you got a thing.

Oh and the copper isnt real mint copper. Got it on amazon desu
