I don’t know about you all... but because of Corona this is the first time since college that I’ve felt alive. I have lots of silver and been waiting for something like this to happen for 5 years. The point where things get so bad that 1 silver Roosevelt dime will buy me a blowjob from a formerly well to do housewife and her 18 year old daughter at the same time. I’ve been waiting in the shadows laughing at these cuck husbands who buy their wives range rovers instead of buying silver bullion... knowing that I’ll be face fucking their wives mouths for the 1.30$ it cost me to buy that silver dime.

Just yesterday at Whole Foods I seamlessly entered into conversation about Corona with a roastie milf that had a ring on her finger in the water aisle... and I said this is all a cover for trump to bring us back on a gold standard. She started looking at me in amazement like she wanted me to paint her lips in cum. At the end of the conversation I’m like take my number l have plenty of protection and freeze dried food if you ever need it and she took it from me.

1 silver piece the size of a silver dime has been a days wage for most of human history.... and even is today in much of the world. When you hear of some gook rice paddy farmer making 2$ day Americans are like wtf? But that’s right in line with sane historical economic reality since that 2$ will buy you a silver dime at a coin shop. Some fat ass insurance salesman making 300$/day is making the equivalent of 15 ounces of silver a day if he converted his daily paycheck to metal. This flies in the face of all historical economic reality and just shows how badly we are getting fucked through inflation.

14 silver dimes equals 1 ounce of silver. So each ounce of silver you get you are locking up 2 weeks worth of days wages after the deflationary collapse... and it might even be 2-3x or even 5x as much since there’s much mess silver available and billions more people on the planet.

So 90 ounces is 180 Weeks which is nice. But you need to be getting more...to really be a big swinging dick and it doesn’t take much more. Just accumulate as much as possible. Fuck the premiums. Doesn’t matter if your paying 18 or 25$ just accumulate.

Ya, the price of silver is being artificially held down (just look up all the lawsuits filed against major firms for market manipulation in the last couple decades). In terms of its ratio to gold it can't really get any lower, and cant go any lower to remain profitable to extract. Gold is probably overvalued and silver is most likely undervalued.

I dont buy into the "SILVER IS GOING TO 100X NEXT YEAR" clickbaity bullshit, but I just can't see it dropping much lower for any length of time. Not only is it a shiny rock, its also a useful shiny rock that is used in every single piece of electronic equipment used today, as well as a whole litany of other industrial uses. I think its the most conductive naturally occurring material on the planet (I could be wrong, but its definitely one of the best conductors).

OK do you want to make it to the next level?
Here's what you have to do.
You have to not only hold your Gold *locally* but you have to overshore your wealth gradually and legally while maintaining political connections at the destination. The reason is the moment there is a run on currency, most fiat countries will activate a law that Grabbles all your Gold and prevents you from actually using it.
The solution is to have your Gold be external, wait for the currency to collapse, then do a Gold-currency swap post collapse prior to actually buying the assets you need.
The political connections prevent you from getting shafted. I'm talking shit like Canary island and so on.
Alternatively you can be silver stacker and eventually run out of room but at least no one is going to bother you.
And if you have apetite for even more risk you can buy Platinum which no one uses as a currency base but may (or may not) piggy back off Gold's appreciation in value.

I will say it's a sovereign mint and we signed a contract for delivery. They may refund me if they fail to deliver in that time window but I cannot demand any compensation. Basically if the currency run happens in that window I'm fucked.

But for the record, if you check the history, gold "price" had a massive increase in 1933/34 mid last depression. From 20.67 per ounce, to 35$ per ounce. Gold was also illegal in quantities of more than five ounces, and confiscated (stolen) by government.

Silver price went to low low lows all through the 30's the silver price tanked. Presumably nobody had money to buy silver, at the same time that desperate people were trying to sell their silver for some meager food and shelter to barely survive.

The dollar was fair to poor as a store of value, but countless people lost everything in bank failures.

Stock portfolios lost 90% and tons of elite wealthy people became bankrupt paupers. According to legend, diversification was not popular.

>1. What did the US government do with the staggering amount of gold they confiscated in 1933 and where is that gold today?
Everyone's gold was meant to be stored at Fort Knox and controlled by the US Treasury/Mint. It was meant to back the US dollar. A lot of countries around the world also stored their gold with the US in trade for notes. But Nixon was forced to break that promise because the French did a run on the Gold while knowing that the US was under-allocating and printing money to cover its own expansion. That made the US jump out of a Gold-backed currency and transition to a more complex oil-backed currency.
The gold is basically gone.

>2. What did Spain do with the insane amount of gold they brought back from the new world over 500 years and where is that gold today?
The U.S.S. Maine false flag happened and the Spanish-American war broke out, essentially draining Spain's reserves. The civil war then had 70% of its remaining gold gone through a reckless move to move the gold to the Soviet Union. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscow_gold_(Spain)) France acted as the broker of the move. Eventually Franks were exchanged for those gold.

why do you think the ratio matters at all? It's like investing in apples hoping the ratio of apples to avocados will go up. So what if it does? did apples go up or avocados go down? I don't know if faggots know this but most of the melt in Switzerland is from vaulted bars that have been leased. It's been going on for a while now. If you pay 2-4% interest on the gold... you can easily clear out the vaults. People are going to find that China rented all that metal and it's never coming back. How stupid is the West? I'd say something like a 13/10. Of course the West can mine it... but most gold and silver production is a byproduct of other extractive activities which... isn't going to be so attractive now that China has a 10 year stockpile of base metals and have finished developing it's own mines along with India. Sucks to be a retard right now. Global prices are going to be a thing of the past.

I don't know what you are trying to say there. CB's have generally been selling (or leasing... actually many have been leasing because they are gay and stupid) and some are simply trying to get their gold back (and many have got most if not all back). Russia is a buyer but you clearly don't understand that all gold production in Russia is offered to the CB first. It's painting like they are the buyer of last resort so there is a market and mines can finance but it's completely not how it is. China has at least 40,000t of gold (I mean vaulted). As a side note Russia stacks gold and silver at 1:1.

CB in the west have been selling until recently when they made it a tier 1 asset. But Russia recently stopped and allowed its producers to sell abroad.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-03-30/bank-of-russia-to-halt-domestic-gold-purchases-from-april-1

The demand removal is somewhat significant as it was only because they don't have cash to buy gold and wage the oil war against the Saudis at the same time so they stopped, and naturally, that would mean Russia stops buying silver too. Again, we know retail has high demands but among big buyers, it's not clear what kind of demand is present and mixed signals like this and COMEX non delivery makes it hard to tell.

Makes me smile every day

I live in Leadville, CO. We single-handedly crashed the global silver market in the 1890's, nearly bankrupting the country in the process.

we closed our mines in 1895. Not because we ran out of silver, but because we flooded the market so badly it wasn't worth mining after that. The town's built on top of presumably billions of dollars worth of silver, but until silver goes over $50/oz. in today's money it's simply not worth mining. Aspen CO has the same problem, both towns used to cut raw blocks of silver out of the ground and smelt them and sell them for pennies per ounce overhead. I don't doubt there's other silver deposits like ours out there, just waiting for things to get lean enough to open the mines again. So far we're 130 years without serious silver mining because the markets never recovered.

They still need the USD to deal in international finance and commence for now. None of the alternative financial systems are up and running effectively other than the one between Europe and Iran, which is very limited.

I'm not contesting that the US is fucked on a longer term scale, but as of today, the facts are what they are, where Russia has stopped gold buying and now their producers can sell aboard and are selling now as we speak. Maybe not to the US directly because of the animosity and etc., but once it lands in London with the LMBA approved bullion, you can probably book that supply and get it. But as I said, no one knows where the larger precious metals market will head because of mixed signals and the fact that we're small fry buyers that can't and won't influence the market there.

This is bullshit. 60$ in 5 years? First off like I’ve said a million times. THE DOLLAR VALUE OF SILVER DOES NOT MATTER. I can get a 4x investing in some shitcoin pump and dump. It’s not about investing but having real money for the reset. Sure... maybe it goes to 60 and if you have 500 ounces that’s 30k.... which is nothing in TODAYS fiat paradigm but prices will be like they were in 1910 when an avg house was 2-3k in price.

So valuing gold and silver going up or down like stock prices is the wrong way to be doing shit

true, but it was the initial release of the global price that made that not matter.

If we could get back to a silver standard the price would go through the roof because of those billions. But once we let the price go it becomes nearly impossible to go back to controlling it. Governments controlled it by buying silver with gold, but we still have the same problem they had back then- gold is much more expensive than silver to produce, and we don't have any real shortage of silver in the ground.

yeah, we throw a fucking shitload of it away. Dump it down drains or in landfills.

it's simply not valuable enough to recover in many industrial and building applications. We can always get more out of the ground for pennies per ounce. Supply is unimaginably huge.
