Nobody should be evicting anyone during this crisis, especially not large numbers of tenants. That would not be accepted in Germany. I used to live in a city and remember watching a developer buy up an entire neighborhood that had low income renters. Then one day the whole place was leveled and hauled of in dump trucks. Apartment buildings were built and the whole area now belonged to a real estate investment trust. REIT. Rents that were $500 now became $2000 a month. Promises were made to also build low income apartments but that never happened. It’s easy to lie to poor fags. This was possible due to low income renters driving the value of their “hood” into the dirt. You all may think your going to benefit from rent strikes and the possibility of low property values that may follow but you are mistaken. Corporations with money, lawyers, and lobbyists will bit off another big piece of the property market, especially in large populated cities where you hipsters want to live. Rent fags wake up. The problem is where you draw the line. If a person owns property that can fit a small apartment in it, and rents it to say a college student to bring in extra money, is that wrong? Then why is it wrong for someone that owns a larger property wrong to rent it out to a half dozen people? This only becomes a problem when the prices become predatory, in the case of growing AirBnB unregulated hotels and large consolidated groups buying up lots of buildings, and raising the rates because there's no competition.
