Can I buy actual barrels of oil? I have a small 2400sqft warehouse I could stack oil barrels in. I read that the world is going to run out of storage capacity in a matter of weeks/month, would like to pick up some barrels at near zero cost.

How are you gonna transport it? The min size for oil futures is 1000 barrels. Have fun carrying those one by one

I can't imagine it being still worth it if you are paying for the logistics and only storing such a small amount of crude even if the oil is completely free. Pretty sure at that point the big players and nation states are just gonna open up other storage en masse.

If I could get 1000 barrels for $5k delivered, and eventually oil zoomz to $150/barrel because of the Saudis/fed, I would make alot of money eh? Even if oil only returned to $50/barrel id still make 10s of thousands. I have a forklift.
