we're talking about the mechanism for compensating the transaction processors, also known as the miners
as the block reward, which is a subsidy for bootstrapping the network, diminishes, they will have to rely more and more on a large volume of transactions to collect transaction fees
this is what Satoshi always intended, and the only viable economic model for scaling the network
BTC does not allow for such volumes at all, and in fact the network imploded completely when the price reached $20k, with the mempool becoming congested as fuck and tx fees skyrocketing
BTC is pure garbage, and it's headed straight to $0 where it belongs
either sell and take whatever gains or losses you've gotten so far, or hold the bags and lose all your money, your choice
