I was one of them.
I stand by it:
This rally is not self sustaining.
I never once said that today was going to be bloody. Instead I pointed out the very grim reality that after rallies like this, you have declines for a while.
So yes, I'm standing by that. I never once said when the drop back off would happen. BUt I relayed along that even financial and economic experts are calling this a fools rally.
Make what you can when you can. Keep your option to exit the market when you stop posting gains open. And don't expect a continuous increase upwards.

Legitimate (probably not though) question:

How likely is it that our market in the coming weeks will reflect that of China? Given that they are "ahead" of us in this pandemic, meaning that their populace and businesses have already experienced everything we are currently going through, is there a possibility that the S&P might vaguely mirror something like SHCOMP?

Pic related.

Their markets recovered as the virus was "contained" domestically. But then they crashed again when the first-world countries stopped buying nonvital goods. They're losing their foreign incomes, and that hurts them more than it hurts us.

The USA does not have this problem, because all of our trade partners are getting the virus in tandem, so recovery will more or less also be in tandem.

>The amount of distressed debt in the U.S. has quadrupled in less than a week to nearly $1 trillion, reaching levels not seen since 2008 as the collapse of oil prices and fallout from the coronavirus shutters entire industries across the globe.

>In total, the tally has ballooned to $934 billion of U.S. corporate bonds that yield at least 10 percentage points above Treasuries and loans that trade for less than 80 cents on the dollar, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. That’s nearly double the amount from less than a week ago.

>The total is probably even higher, because the calculation excludes debt of small-to-medium sized companies whose loans trade rarely, if at all.

>The coronavirus pandemic has caused the worst sell-off since the global financial crisis and deepened stress in credit markets. Driven by some of the lowest oil prices since the early 2000s, the amount of distressed bonds has surged to the highest level since April 2009.

>“What we are seeing now is fast and violent,” unlike the gradual sell-off in the 2007 and 2008 crisis, said Phil Brendel, a senior distressed credit analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence. If the virus isn’t suppressed, even more distress is possible, according to Brendel. “The worst is yet to come,” he said.

no one fucking knows at this point. Though i would give a slight benifit of the doubt to "the house" that provides infinite QE, although we will then have a clown stock market that can't be trusted. Trump (who i voted for no less), did what no democrat could have done. Trillions in bailouts (added to the national debt in good times...we will pay "taxes" on this to the fucking private federal reserve bank), UBI, and literal government ownership (communism) of the means of production. It's fucked. The US is fucked. We would be unrecognizable to our founding fathers in operation, taxation, and freedom. Totally fucking fucked. IDK what to invest in now. Probably stocks for the time being, since the stupid fucking fed inflated them back to fair value. You just better pray that this inflation won't reach the consumer sector...mass price increases and scarcity of goods at the same time. CLOWN WORLD.

lol, get fucked, bulls. You wouldn't be up right now if it were not for the irresponsibility, nay, even downright crookedness of our politicians and the private kike reserve bank indebting us to trillions of dollars to line their kike pockets. Yes, I'm still holding SQQQ that i bought last friday, thinking market will drop a bit tomorrow and Friday on surprise unemployment of 5 million, and more mandatory lockdowns for this "pandemic" that will surely kill far more than the regular flu. After that, I plan to partake in the small bull run, which will soon run out of steam as people realize the economy is shaky and that a recession should have happened.
---so what was this?? This is like a woman that goes out and cheats on her husband and comes home and he's suspicious, so he questions her. She ends up fessing up that she had dinner with an old ex-boyfriend and "admits" she's been having "thoughts". Distressed, the husband talks it out with her, and even appreciates her honesty about the situation, oblivious that hours before she was getting fucked by her co-worker. So, she was able to take the anger and suspicions from her husband by giving a little, even though much more should have been exchanged in both directions. That's what this "pandemic" has been. The future is fucked.
