This rally is not self sustaining.
I never once said that today was going to be bloody. Instead I pointed out the very grim reality that after rallies like this, you have declines for a while.
So yes, I'm standing by that. I never once said when the drop back off would happen. BUt I relayed along that even financial and economic experts are calling this a fools rally.
Make what you can when you can. Keep your option to exit the market when you stop posting gains open. And I don't expect a continuous increase upwards.
Hell the few put positions I have? They're whatever expires in june position written off as net losses. I'm using what can be seen as bottoms to hoover up whatever I know is normally well valued, but is low. But I don't expect a continuous up or down. My entire thesis is the same: JUst because it is up today, doesn't mean it will be up on monday. I hedge in a bearish fashion. As such, my investments don't always grow quickly. But I don't buy into hype. It was a good day yesterday, and will be a good day today, but I don't have optimism about the rest of the week. So I'm going for a careful and modest strategy.
