It's more likely that both precious metals and bitcoin succeed in being stores of values.. the only real way to tell whether you should invest in gold or bitcoin is comparing how many ounces of gold/silver a bitcoin can buy.

I mean gold and silver is already practically sold out, what is the next best thing normies are going to fomo into when they realise their fiat money is going down the drain?

In my opinion it's bitcoin. But I don't know for sure.

I think own some bitcoin and precious metals is a way to make sure your right even if your wrong.

its probably just hooked into an exchange. You pay for the gold in bitcoin, bitcoin is converted into fiat and deposited into his account as fiat which i guess he can then turn around and use to buy more gold from a supplier.

By the way, if bitcoin ever reaches the market cap of golld in the future it would make a single bitcoin worth $400,000. So far it's gone from 20 cents to it's current price of $6200 in about a decade's time

the internet is not shutting down idiot. the concept behind btc and pm's being valuye is the same: minimum amount of energy required to procure the asset is what keeps value high because there is no money printer to go brrr
