> The Antonine Plague that preceded the Crisis of the Third Century sapped manpower from Roman armies and proved disastrous for the Roman economy.
>These plagues greatly hindered the Roman Empire's ability to ward off barbarian invasions but also factored into problems such as famine, with many farms becoming abandoned and unproductive.

>A second and longer-term natural disaster that took place during the Third Century was the increased variability of weather. Drier summers meant less agricultural productivity and more extreme weather events led to agricultural instability.

>Barbarian invasions came in the wake of civil war, plague, and famine. Pressures from the changing climate forced various barbarian tribes to push into Roman territory. Other tribes coalesced into more formidable entities (notably the Alamanni and Franks), or were pushed out of their former territories by more dangerous peoples such as the Sarmatians

>With the onset of the Crisis of the Third Century, however, this vast internal trade network broke down. The widespread civil unrest made it no longer safe for merchants to travel as they once had, and the financial crisis that struck made exchange very difficult with the debased currency. This produced profound changes that, in many ways, foreshadowed the very decentralized economic character of the coming Middle Ages.

Who 3rd century Roman here?

I hope everything destabilizes further. I am a young, healthy man. Water off a duck's back.

the biggest issue in the crisis of the third century was that even in the mix of all that, the legions by that point had become a) fucking retarded and b) greedy as shit, and constantly hailed any general that won any battle imperator, leading to constant civil war. This created a situation where no Emperor could leave decent armies behind with his generals or else they would be in a position to rebel, and fuck everything up all over again the minute he ran towards some overrun border to settle things down.
Luckily, murica does not have this issue

I too thought US was going to end up like Rome when I became more redpilled and took a trip through history learning about the concept of money. But then you will eventually figure out that there are too many major differences between US and Rome in favor of US and that US will most likely survive and continue to stay on top.

That was a consequence, not a cause. Everyone was looking for a guy who will this the mess.
Expect civil war and multiple presidents elected by each side by the end of this year.

Parties are kind of united a little right now because of the coronavirus and blaming China. Though if parties split again I wouldn't be surprised, it has happened in the past in the US and we still have 1 President. Democrat and Republicans were once one party.

no, youre a retard. it was not a cause at all, that phenomenon had been going on long before the plague ever hit. the plague made the consequences of this already ongoing phenomenon worse because every civil war sapped more men that were not going to be replaced, due to the plague. read the actual history before bullshitting me again bitch nigger

Literally blocked the bailouts to piss of Republics, bot 30 minutes ago.
Then there are militant communists, militant NS movements, "muh freedums" militias and letter agenices, each pushing their own agenda. Shit goes down once the riots start (very soon). It only takes a spart for this to burn to the ground.

Can tell you right now that after you take more redpills to look at the bigger picture. There are actually only two sides right now and it's not Democrats or Republicans. Those agendas are all pushed by one side. Either way, I do hope we get our Trumpbux during this power struggle kek.
