Why can we just pause everything, chill at home for a month, and then get back to life to business as usual ?

Press the PAUSE button !? There is plenty of food and water.

Anon, the jewish debt scheme doest not work this way. Get to work.

>> No.17999239

The people working at power plants, generating your electricity, are they going to just pause?
What about ISPs?
Farms?
Ranches?
Oh and the oil&gas industry, can they just pause?
How about the logistics that tie everything together?

Yes, that's essentially what the government taking out hundreds of billions or even trillions of debt and sending out checks is meant to do.

Just like you get a few thousand while not working for a couple months so landlords and mortgage-owning banks don't go bust during that pause, airlines and cruise ships will need a few billion to keep their airplanes, ships, and crews from being permanently destroyed during this pause.

mostly a matter of fairness.

I spend $20,000 per month doing nothing. Most people in the US spend closer to $3,000. So paying me to sit around and do nothing costs a lot more than paying my neighbor. That's unfair. You know, because my bills have to be paid or other people lose.

on the flip side some people would lose houses or businesses worth millions doing nothing while others might lose twinkies or x-boxes. It's not an equal situation so pausing it won't give equal results or equal costs.

Why don't we:
Cut the cash rate to negative.
Pay people to take out loans.
Find a cure.
Bankrupt the lenders.
Business as usual.

>> No.18001538

>Dude just pause everything

You're completely ignoring that bills still need to be paid for survive in the form of water, electricity and heat. Even if the government can cover those, food and basic necessities still needs to be bought and the people within the supply chains to produce and sell those need to be paid. We can't just lock down the world for a month

Most people can't afford to pause everything even for a week, much less a month.

There won't be plenty of food and water if people who provide them aren't paid for their work.

It's simple
>country relies on fraction reserve banking
>people need to take out loans and keep working to keep the system rolling
>people no longer go to work
>nobody getting paid with paper money now
>nobody paying debts
>money is worthless because if you don't have to pay debts, all the money that you were loaned is basically free meaning nothing is worth anything anymore

put everything on pause except for essential work. governments print funny money and gives it to wagie citizens so they can pay utility companies, kike landlords, grocery stores, etc. all affected governments across the world do the same and agree to collectively ignore this massive pile of money that was created out of thin air. any country who protests this course of action will be invaded, enslaved, and then exterminated.

this board is retarded. Ive never seen a board know so little about the board topic. Like, one could go on /sp/, maybe even fuckin /v/ or /a/, and theyd unironically have better understanding of basics of economics and society.
