I'm trying to learn about investing in stocks and shares. It's a bit overwhelming.

My priority is to get rid of £GBP and put it into something more stable, ideally by investing in companies that will do will through the coming recession.

I'm looking at precious metals as an alternative to just holding my GBP currency and have questions:

What are some websites that show daily, monthly, 6m, 5yr etc graphs for gold, silver, copper, plat and so on? This is easy to find for companies but not so much for metals

What platform should I buy through with £GBP?

Picrel is the portfolio i'm considering for a 2 to 5 year hold with £20,000 in a tax free investment ISA (for non britfags this is just a broker account of max £20000 on which you dont pay tax but with a higher premium on purchase than normal broker accounts)

It can take more a few days or weeks, but when the worst cenario becames real as it have to be all legacy exchanges will shut down and people will have to go to crypto exchanges like Binane. This alon will make Bitcoin rise to no mans land.
