Hello all,
I know /biz/ is famous for the old joke buy high sell slow. But Ironically I have found that as long as I wait for it to crash and then buy when I think its at its lowest (its not allways but I am usually fairly close) and then sell when it starts gettting high I make money.

what about this is difficult? how are those of you who have never made money in crypto or stocks alive, Litterally just buy the dip and then sell when it goes up.

easy

I had everything in motion to sustain. Long explanation of events but the Titan concept one in other reaches if the universe. I am first. God of this Earth. After everything my plans of time we're displaced thus another entity must had to be formed.

because anon, its not always that easy. i make money on 90% of my trades but that last 10% wow talk about bad...
i've bought the dip just for it to crash hard, i've sold early to watch it soar...
but yeah over all if you've lost more money then you've put in you're bad. which is me lol

It's difficult because not all crashes are obvious and the fact is the market shouldn't crash off speculation. Making money from a crash is easy. Making sure you're liquid before the crash is bordering on impossible and you're a liar if you say you predicted any crash since 2017 (besides maybe the Christmas crash which was started by the banning of crypto in South Korea).

It's called being lucky, the cryptos you're investing in are fluctuating. You know it can dump below the price you bought in, right? What you see as low price may not be the bottom

>> No.17967611

if you have maximum patience, then yes, all you have to do is wait for a crash and buy the bottom. the problem is most people aren't patient, even a little bit, and they play with money they can't afford to lose, which leads to irrational decisions like selling at a 10% loss so you don't "lose it all".

You won't know where the bottom is, but as a 34 year old boomer my trick is this: When everyone says the stock market is shit and are completely worn out with it, like they did in 09, that's when to buy up. When you start getting stock tips from truck drivers, like I did in '19...that's when to start selling off. I missed out on a lot of the gains in '19 because I moved to cash, but those gains would have been erased this week anyways. If anything, I think I was a bit too risky. Right now I'm going to DAC into more index funds over this next recession and start to buy back in.
