It's both, actually. CA is shutdown, TX, NYC, among others, those are huge profit sinks now. People have to pay rent, landlords have to pay maintenance and etc, then there's spoilage and employees still need paid as well. Where there isn't total cutoff, there is still major losses to absorb due to lowered foot traffic.

Now everyone is getting more uncertain. Once "traditional" Spring Break is over it's not unrealistic to expect massive increases, and with the extensions people are just going to socialize more, so expect all that travel to mean that shit is going to get worse.
