I work in the meat department of a grocery store in a meth town in the Northeast. Product is available but demand is outpacing the deliveries. People are literally in the parking lot waiting for the truck to arrive now. It's mind blowing. Even with working there I've only scored one pack of toilet paper in a week.

I went to Aldi’s the other day and I shit you not. One 400+ pound Mexican woman in a cart and her 300+ spawn had 9 milk cartons, 12 cereal boxes and can’t even tell you how much meat she bought. Bitch’s groceries were x3 the carts capacity. Gotta love them Hispanics.

I have about 3 months worth. Including frozen, some fresh (about a weeks worth that I restock til lockdown), beans, rice, and canned goods. I have a pool and a 12L lifestraw bag for water, a generator, solar panels (with some battery life, not a ton), a few ARs and about 2000 rounds.

fat, but every truck we've received has been wiped off the shelf immediately. we're incredibly understaffed, dept manager is putting in 30+ hours/wk overtime, dept heads are stepping down and employees are quitting because family have pre-existing conditions. I have tomorrow off, I worked 10 hrs today. saturday will be a nightmare

I work in the meat dept at publix, there is literally nothing fucking left. We sold all of our ground beef within 30 minutes of our truck delivery Wednesday. We've been cutting beef and pork nonstop from open to close and the customers are getting more unhinged by the day. This shit's scary, I just wanted an easy job so I could shitpost until 3 am and still be fine at work. I've never worked so hard in my life.
