First post on /biz/, the tears here are fucking hilarious. Unemployed for a few years for medical reasons (they don't increase corona risk) and being supported by dad who is in large-scale computer security.

Also holding a good emount of ETH from a few years ago, worst case scenario I can sell it even at these low prices and be good for months without playing it safe. Don't remember shit about trading from back when I tried for a while with ETH lol.

Fucking good. That's how the boomer's job market was back in the day. They only got fast promotions and easy jobs because old people died at age 60.

Now the current boomers die later, don't want to retire, or can't retire because they have nothing. Less openings at the top means less promotions, which is why America kept saying that the future of jobs is the "service industry". What fucking retarded shit is that. Engineer with 3 years of experience and patent on resume. 20,000 in savings and a year of food stock piled. Living with wife, no kids. Savings cover 10 months of expenses.

All in all I feel comfy because I've been prepping since China went on lockdown, I'm not to worried about job prospects but can weather the storm if I have to for a while.

Italian, 23, in the fucking middle of the virus spread.
Currently unemployed but maybe it'll change, currently seeking low-effort jobs like metalworks etc (i work on summer as a waiter, it is really good money but now my employer is on suicide watch), >9K euros in the bank.

Gonna start with the 600 neetbux the government is giving me to try to make at least an hundred or two. I want to buy a shitty farmhouse for cheap by the end of next summer (15K), currently seeking advice to make quick tiny bucks.

Really depends on when the market ceases it's downward spiral/Corona effects/when I get a new job. If I know the federal government, by that time they will probably start rewarding contracts out to biotech firms for some vague anti-pandemic bill Trump will push through to seem hard on Diseases for the election, so possibly a healthy spread of that market.

Also I'm watching Disney with great anticipation. When it bottoms out, I might see about getting a longterm call on it simply because I expect Marvel to hoist them back in 2021 and Corona to be over by then

Financially fine and still have a secure job.
That doesn't mean I'm not worried about the recession we are going into.

>be neet for 10 years after dropping out of HS
>live comfily with mommy
>get first job last summer digging holes
>get laid off on new year because no more jobs
>keep living comfily with mommy but now 9k richer
>invest 9k and make 3k extra
>lose 1k in crash before cashing out
>waiting for bottom to go all in again, except now with all of mommys monny and hoping to double it to 200k
The plan is to buy a tiny, run down cabin on a small fertile plot of land without electricity or running water for ~50k that I can live miserably in ever after. I'll trade on my phone with my remaining 50k and charge it with those portable solar panels and make just enough money to buy food and pay the few bills I'll have. That or I'll kill myself at 30, probably. Place your bets.

Boeing dropped 18% just today, and there are only a couple companies that do what they do.

>im in construction... how will it be effected?
They're giving away money at 0% just to try to get people to do things like build houses, because they know if they don't incentivize it nobody is building shit.

All you youngfags need to read up on 2008-2012 and realize this is 10x that habbening.

Don't have to worry since I live in a shithole that is too busy dealing with a perpetual civil war to even think about anything that isn't shooting each other and I'm currently under the protection of the side with more control.

I have about 2k in my bank account and 30k in student loan debt. I'm a temp at an office and will most likely be the first to go. If Salley Mae thinks they can jack up my debt to 100k when I default they can go fuck themselves. I'm faking my own death and leaving the country.
