Everytime I applied at a company with big HR departments I got memed. They often do not know shit about anything and decide on emotions. I have alway been overqualified but they never gave a shit. LOVE to hire less qualified "Ultra-Normies" and "women in tech". Very anoying. Especially anoying when you have to work with this low skilled people because HR thought they are the shit. (Iam a Web and Application developer btw.)

You dont get it. HR often does not give a shit about your skills. I recomend to find out who is the head of the Department and try to skip HR. Worked for me. I cold called the CEO. Got a job the next day.
