I fucking love boats. Is it even possible to locally transport goods and make a living? Don't really want to expand, I just want one boat to do the shipping. Also how the hell would you get contracts for cargo shipment. Super very much thanks, love ya guys.

P.S. I'm not above fishing for sea roaches but I'm not business savvy so I have no idea how the hell I would get rid of them.

P.P.S Thanks again

Probably your best bet is a fishing boat tbqh. I really don't think there's any call for river barge transport, not in any first world countries, and coastal transport is out of any one man's financial reach. Fisherman rake in the cash, but the licenses are fucking expensive, the work is dangerous, and the whole enterprise can be very volatile thanks to environmental conditions and the market. Selling wise, you'd sell to the local fisherman's Co-op. Plus, you need a lot of knowledge, so you'd have to start out as a deckhand on another man's vessel, so you can quite literally learn the ropes.

Dangerous = money.

The best /biz/ career related advice I can give is to look at your interests. Find the one the market wants; we all have one.

Make it your only hobby and obsession.
