We are obviously in a dip already and will eventually recover sooner or later, so what you can do is buy 2.5k worth of stock every week because it will be impossible to know where the bottom is exactly and you might end up missing it, that way instead of buying 15k today and the market dropping by next week, you pace out your possible losses by buying consecutive lower prices and you bring your averages down each time you do. If the market recovers within that time then you will ahve bought at or near the bottom with a portion of the money.
