I think it's an issue with the price contract. At least 5 oracles were still running, but the price contract had a requirement of minimum 13. There should be a soft limit that allows for fewer oracles when high ethereum congestion. That is, I think chainlink (the underlying technology) is showing relative robustness, but this specific contranct should be updated.

Faggots cope and don't even address these kinds of problems even though they might be critical as fuck. The idea chainlink had (can't remember the name) to reduce gas fees has yet to be implemented so until that this shit will remain very very speculative until they really find a way to reduce gas fees.
