Why would Amazon switch to using "Kleros juries" for customer disputes, over their current system which is extremely smooth and painless?

Go ahead I'll wait

>> No.17690429

Lmao ok

>> No.17690567

>>17690431
I've had multiple issues with Amazon orders over the years and all of them were resolved easily and without issue when I contacted their support.

In your alternative universe where you're a billionaire thanks to PNK token because Amazon fired all their customer support agents and opted to use "kleros juries" instead, what, I would have to send my "case" to a bunch of random token-holding faggots and let them decide?

No thanks, I'll take the "archaic" method of just having regular customer support agents.

But please if you can explain how Kleros solves the problem even better, I'm all ears. The thing is none of you fags can and never have, all you say is "HEH DYOR STAY POOR HEH?"

>> No.17690636

>>17690567
They dont explain it because its a shit idea with the most contrived usecase of all fucking time. Literally a PND

>> No.17690642

>>17690420
some Amazon disputes probably aren't smooth or painless
might be a good thing for them to be able to say dispute was resolved by third party that looked at all evidence decided against instead of the the customer support caving to customer everytime very few questions asked, so it would probably save them money

>> No.17690692

>>17690567

Anon asked a legit question though
>>17690567
you can choose from pools of jurors that have expertise in specific field, or will be able to in future. people that vote against the majority lose their stake so the outcome would be accurate and probably favor amazon or a huge company like it because (im guessing) a significant amount of disputes don't go in their favor when they should

>> No.17691411

>>17690420
You really don’t get the price proposition.
It’s not “random jurors” - And to be honest I can’t believe I have to explain this AGAIN.
In the beginning, every decentralised project is pitched as “empowering the people” or some other similar phrase, the idea being the people like us who got in early (you did buy, right anon?) will be some percentage of the jury or other governing body. This isn’t just Kleros, this is every token that offers any kind of utility/reward. But the real potential for price climbing is in the fact that if certain organisations do want to use the utility the token provides, they’ll have to buy some for themselves, thus - number go up.
It’s also not entirely out of the realm of possibility that they’ll just outsource anyway. I’m almost certain using Kleros would be overall cheaper than whatever they’re doing now.

There is literally no need for jurors if the smart contract is coded right and oracle is working as inteded. You only might need this if there is human work involved in the contract which is very very very niche market.
