The internet only had a technical bottleneck, technology honed in the 80s and 90s - eventually had its epitome with the release of the iPhone in 2009. The internet/PC/smartphones were eventually quickly adopted once products became mass marketed. The internet the way we know it today became so successful because you could build it in a centralized fashion. Centralized systems are regulatory and law compliant and easily pivotable by the central entity. (Just one example: ICANN pulls .com domains all the time that do not fit their terms. Making something in a centralized fashion fits perfectly in an already analog, bureaucratic, non-deterministic, top to down hierarchy organised societies in this world. Now to the sticking point people living, breathing, eating, working, partying, fucking, growing up in this, feed into this systems since their birth. They themselves indulge in this principles, making them this their belief systems. Now humans are very much creatures of habit and really do not like change.

Now the thing with Blockchain is that it will have two hurdles to overcome instead of one. First the technical one which eventually will be solved, and being the lesser problem. The other one is the deeply rooted fundamental philosophical hurdle that people living described above have to make a 180 on it. I personally do not even think it will be possible. Blockchain technology in combination with smartcontracts and AI will be just build in the dark for the next decades because the human population is not ready for adopting it. The only scenario I could actually think of when it could be adopted would be a technocracy civilization on an another planet where the whole population from the day they were born are only exposed to decentralized, tamper-proof, self-executable, permissionless way of thinking and how this effects how they live, how they learn, how the love, and how they dream and how they think.

good god there are will be things possible with smart contract technology that our brains today literally cant comprehend or fanthom about.

TLDR: chainlink ico buyer and token not needed is the only thing that doesnt let me sleep at night

Actually the only real FUD is that Alphabet, Microsoft, Oracle, etc. buying out Chainlink/SmartContracts is the only thing that spooks me.

>the human population is not ready for adopting it
they have no choice anyway, the powers in charge already decided on the path of technology (Computers, Internet etc.) in the 70s.
this is how the mark of the beast gets buidl'd.

It's open source. Fork. Boom. Game over.

The fact that they haven't already tells you they find the application very limited or they're already millions of miles ahead of the 2 man team in the Cayman Islands.

there is no real FUD anymore, its obvious that chainlink is the standard now and this wont change.

Blockchain is a back-end innovation, not a front-end innovation. So nobody needs to know how it works as long as good programmers take advantage of the platforms to build economically superior platforms you fucking moron

It’s not another programming language. Value and ownership will become digital. Truly think about this in your head

the biggest blackpill about chainlink is simply that it's useless. it cant be used for anything yet, and it never will. it's a shitty erc-20 token, the likes of which have all completely disappeared from the market. LINK was kept afloat by hopium and memes - a copious mix i'll grant you - but if you really look at it from a truly dispassionate perspective, you can see that it is nothing. it's worse than vaporware.

i'm glad some of you, including myself, have made money from it up till now, but there's no way this project is ever going to do anything practical in the real world. the sooner you realize that, the better.
