17547196 No.17547196 [Reply] [Original]

Using TRE exercises. All my anxiety, stress, depression are gone. I’ve literally just tremored away all the stress and trauma at the cellular level employing these trauma release exercises. There are 7 exercises but the best one is you lie on your back, put the bottoms of your feet together, and lift your knees up a few inches. When I do this my legs start convulsing like they are possessed or in an exorcism. It is fucking nuts, and that is stress melting away in your deep muscular patterns.

The science behind this was figured out by a guys named Peter Levine and Peter bercelli who figured out that wild animals that get attacked and get away never hold and trauma and stress in their bodies or have long lasting effects from the flight or fight event because they literally tremor and shake the stress out immediately.

But be careful. It is best to do this a few times with a certified TRE practitioner in your area first because you can end up randomly crying or have fits of rage for no reason sometime after the session if you aren’t regulated correctly. There aren’t many though because this is new.

Bercelli figured out in 3rd world war zones when missiles went off kids start shaking afterwards but adults don’t. Because we have been conditioned that this means your weak and we hold in all that stress and trauma where kids don’t know and naturally shake.

Our bodies have a built in mechanism to release the curling up contraction we experience from flight or fight events... or just general stress that builds up.

The reason tall therapy doesn’t work is because people have mental health issues don’t have an issus in their head. It’s stress and trauma stored in your body. An anxious mind can’t exist in a relaxed body and these involuntarily shaking mechanisms reset your nervous system.

https://sethlyon.com/no-exercise-heals-trauma/

But when the SE didn’t do too much I did more digging and found some comments of people saying Tre is great and sometimes SE people talk down on it.

Then did the Tre and it works and to be honest makes more sense with your body shaking involuntarily and knowing exactly what to do

>> No.17548352

>it's a basic stretch and a few minutes of your time
>what harm is there to stretching your legs?

The harm is caused by the claim that it is a miracle cure for what might be possibly debilitating conditions that have legitimate treatments. By roping individuals who seek to become more healthy into believing that these stretches/breathing exercises are the key, they may (inadvertently or not), prevent them from seeking treatment that does work.

The other harm is in valuable time and energy wasted on nonsense. Literally anybody would benefit more by doing a half hour of cardio on a treadmill or rowing machine, than doing these lame little stretches and praying it cures them of depression.

The existential threat is actually huge, because susceptible individuals who try out this sort of thing and experience a placebo effect, become more vulnerable to woo-peddlers in the future. In this case, the woo-peddlers have more 'systems' to sell them for other ailments. They may be coerced into shelling out dollars to peddlers in real life for 'adjustments'. It's a lifestyle shift that affects the very stupid and desperate, and it is through seemingly innocuous bullshit like this, that they are dragged into what I call the "woo-spiral", where they circle the drain downwards chasing pseudoscience treatments.

>> No.17548371

Explaining the process by which pseudoscience peddlers exploit their victims is not 'projection'. I adequately explained how 'just a few minutes a day' can turn into something more. Wasting someones time or misleading them into wasting their time is unforgivable, because time is the only valuable thing we have.

just did 2 min followed by another 2 min of holding the position. first time i didnt feel much more than a usual stretch, second time was when the shakes started.

i didnt pay attention to the girls video so i wasnt sure how to position my knees so after the initial 2 minute hold my second time, i started raising and lowering them to see what gave optimal shakes and just mess around with that for a bit. i do feel a little bit better, and in a better mood than before but i didnt have anywhere near the reaction that the navy seal guy had. no shakes felt like they were going above my pelvis, my shoulder felt like it wanted to start but never did. and i didnt start crying or coughing. just a big goofy grin once i got to jitterbuggin.

anyway, im sure i did the timing or positioning wrong but ill still keep up with it. i enjoy stretching as it is anyways.

It’s not even that animals are smart.... it’s a natural reaction. Which is why bercelli realized that after a missle went off adults didn’t shake but kids did. Adults have been conditioned to hold it in and are way too conscious of things. It also has to do with evolution and development of the pre frontal cortex I think. When you shake like that that’s your reptilian brain taking over or something like that. And that has been suppressed by us

>I don't think you know any doctors
My sibling is an MDPhD and I have made the rounds with approximately 10 specialists, on my own personal dime, attempting to diagnose what turned out to be Hashimoto's Thyroiditis comorbid with (ultimately caused by) chronic H. pylori, morganella, and C. diff infections. All but a random internist were too stubborn to look into peer-reviewed papers that I curated when I thought the issue might be caused by my intestines. The gastronterologist laughed in my face when I showed her papers describing a stress mediated pathway that leads to the breakdown of tight junctions between intestinal cells. Thankfully the internist worked with me and found other doctors who had succesfully treated Hashimoto's by first healing the intestines, and sure as fuck their treatments worked for me in spite of retards like the gastro telling me that I was being swindled. What I'm getting at is that there is a large cohort of well educated idiots (like you) who are incented to believe that there is no plausible explanation for anything besides the first simplistic, dismissive, self-aggrandizing one that crosses their mind. Like I said, you aren't as perceptive or insightful as you think.

Also.... hashimotos look up Suzy Cohen and her article the poison that drives hashimotos.

The problem with hashimotos is your body isn’t breaking down hydrogen peroxide. You need catalase and l-glutathione which she has a ofented product of... expensive like 60$ for 30 caps but the caps are special and acid resistant.

The problem with allopathic and even naturopathic is even tho symptoms might go away your thyroid is still being attacked.... so the catalase and glutathione gives itself up to what is attacking your thyroid

100% pure gum spirits turpentine. All the 500 reviews are above bolded 5 star rating and the few people who had problems didn’t follow the protocol correctly. Dr, Jennifer Daniels revived this therapy (she is Harvard and penn trained) and she is now a terrorist in the eyes of the us government and had to flee to panama.

In the 1899 Merck Manual turpentine was in there as a cure for many diseases. When slave owners got sick they went to the slaves who gave them turpentine. There is an old saying that if turpentine can’t cure you nothing can.

That’s why they have the skull and bones on turpentine becUse they know how healing it is. And don’t want you to get any ideas.

My Hashi was caused by inflammation from leaky gut caused by the chronic stomach/intestinal infections. Doctor first put me on a high fiber, low sugar autoimmune paleo diet to minimize dietary autoimmune flareups, then gave me a GI MAP to diagnose infections and put me on antibiotic and antifungal herbs specific to the infections mentioned in previous post, as well as s. boulardi containing probiotics and prebiotic fibers. The infections cleared up in 3 months, was an honestly difficult time while they died off, lots of stress flareups. Once confirmed clear with another GI MAP, he shifted me to an intestinal healing supplement routine including the previous pre/probiotics plus gelatine, MSM, and l-glutamine before meals. Been on that roughly six months and the hashi's symptoms are minimal, thyroid levels are almost normal, i can eat more food types without causing big flareups. Doc says I've healed faster than most cases he's read about but that's the sort of protocol he sees others using.

Basically minimize all sources of stress including from diet, eliminate infections using broad spectrum antibiotic herbs (google then) and probiotics (s. Boulardi is key, very strong competitor), and then support gut regrowth with high fiber diet, gelatine, msm, probiotics.

I wondered if my problem was autoimmune because none of the doctors had any better explanations, and by chance found a video by an MD named Terry Wahls who had reversed her very advanced MS strictly through dietary changes, claiming a relationship between autoimmunity, neurodegeneration, and diet. Then i researched autoimmunity and thyroid because my t numbers were all very low, and came upon a few videos describing a link between hashi's and diet (one guy named justin marchegiani has a bunch of videos on it). After that I started looking through pubmed for autoimmunity and intestines and found a few relatively new papers that described the molecular biology behind the stress mediated breakdown of tight junctions in intestinal cells, which happened to be referenced on a now pay walled site called the paleo mom which had a whole bunch of other research to corroborate the idea i was working on. At this point I started bringing papers in to doctors to see if they thought it was plausible that my thyroid issues among many others could be caused by autoimmunity and diet. It was total blind luck up to that point and i was also fortunate that my internist thought it was worth investigating further because he found the protocols that ultimately have returned me to health. It's hard to understate how fucked up my health and mental state was at the time, it was as if god himself got tired of me sucking ass and lined everything up to solve my problem.

It fits pretty well with what I've learned trough meditation that negative experiences, emotions and the like are stored within the body. A big deal of practice is to ''clean'' them up. In meditation they will present itself as literal blocks, think of stones, some more heavy and sized than others. They block the flow of energy and can cause illness.
You might disagree but maybe give it a try?
