anon here, just got off a call with a friend who has been following the project for some time and this is what I learned.

1 - Team are enterprise dev guys. boring and uninteresting, don't know how to shitcoin but focused on building a 9 figure decentralized network

2 - They are burning next week 90% of the supply - this will leave the team with about 40% of the supply and the rest what is already circulated.

3 - Peter Theil is a quiet Investor. (in addition to his public take on RSR)

4- They have a partnership lined up with over 100,000 locations wework style that Peter set up (that is confidential) announcement of this is probably after mainnet as it needs to have a major thump

5 - With regards to LINK - yes, it is priced in. Forget about it for massive moon gains. The only way LINK goes to $100 is if the whole fooking market blows to saturn and then anything you have will buy you an island.

for more stable 100x gainz, UND is a good investment.

I'm reading the wp. Many businesses/projects need blockchain to do frequent, low-zero cost transactions and would thus get fucked by public chains even with tps improvements. These mundane transactions would be bumped by people trading shitcoins and such, or would be too unreliable for the businesses needs. Also common transactions can not fluctuate too much in value. And private chains won't work for these businesses either because they still want a public ledger. That's one of the use cases they claim to solve, and they claim to have had hundreds of conversations with businesses about their needs, and to be tech consultants by trade.

The token is needed because to be a node operator requires at least 1.5is% of the total supply, making every staker financially invested in the network.

The usecase I outlined is just one by the way. And I'm only about 1/3 through the wp.
