You’re lucky its suppressed down so low, lets you accumulate with insiders
6 times more above ground gold than silver and silver has THOUSANDS of vital industrial use cases, yet you can buy 80+ ounces with a single ounce of gold. Not saying gold won’t moon as well it will.
You divide up all the silver in the world equally among each person, EVERYONE GETS 1/10 an ounce. Now think how JPMorgan has 30% of the supply already. 1st world Normies will be lucky to have a damn DIME weight of this. 3rd worlders - 1/10 of a GRAM

When you go to sell it the place you sell it to might want to drill into the bar to make sure it's solid silver and not fake in the middle a guy I was talking to at my local bullion store said to stay away from bars and stick to rounds. gold and silver are going a lot lower

look at the charts
creep up, plunge down
institutions are selling billions of dollars of gold all at once

mainstream news like yahoo finance are floating the idea that people need money to cover bets, this is retarded horseshit

this is a scam
coronavirus is simply an excuse for big players to take profits on the huge asset inflation scam they built with free money from the central bank
>awww the virus is really bad :( sorry gotta sell stuff teehee
they aren't pricing things in in terms of production, they're pricing things in it terms of what the small investors will take up the ass, and mass surveillance lets them do this very accurately since they automatically intercept and process everything everyone says and does - they can run any poll they want with absolute accuracy without asking anyone anything

they will keep selling everything until the central banks provide more free cash then they will buy critical assets and let the small investor retards play with the scraps.
you can't buy and hold ANYTHING, much less commodities that literally and in broad daylight have their prices determined by their fucking derivatives markets.

If you are 'stacking PMs' you better also be stacking guns and ammo to overthrow the government/financial system/jews otherwise you're just plain fucking retarded, the jews will never let you make any money without making you dance in their rigged markets.

You really need to take in just how bad the jewish system really is.

The government, and every other institution really, is totally owned and corrupted by them; they import hordes of third worlders, create tons of debt by giving them free loans and welfare, then (like in 2007/2008) use this debt to crash the economy and loot the middle class and their other political enemies, buying up everything they need for their social engineering projects, then they use their monopolies to enforce a campaign of persecution against European people ('whites') and their other enemies - affirmative action to replace them in the economy and nonstop propaganda from every outlet possible to demoralize them and even drive them totally insane (like leftists), and they rinse and repeat until their goal of genocide and total, ultimate power over the world is complete.

Everyone bought into Kirkland lake gold?
They announced a merger with Detour 2 months ago.
Since then the market cap of the companies declined with 30% even though gold, even after the latest crash, rose with 8%.
Detour is a high resources, high volume, high AISC producer and should thus have a high leverage on the gold price.
Kirkland announced absolutely stellar Q4 results with a further 10% drop in AISC and record production.
Without the merger these two companies would have rallied at least 50% on rising gold and great results.
Yet here we are and they collapsed 30% because kirkland shareholders didnt want to become detour owners and detour shareholders didnt want to become kirkland owners.
Add to that the market crash of the past week and we have a massive undervaluation.

I've been stacking silver for some time now, but I haven't really thought about an exit strategy, i.e. how do I liquidate my stack when I need to.

This is just an example, but let's say I buy a monster box of 500 x 1oz coins from a coin shop today, spot price at around €15, and pay around €18 per coin with premium (this is what my local Yuro coin shop currently charges). Silver then moons and spot price is now €500 per oz. Why would any coin shop give me money for that? Why sell coins for €9000, and then buy them back for €250 000? They can't base their entire business model on selling low and buying high, right?

I still consider myself a beginner in the art of stacking silver, so please help me understand. If silver actually moons, and barring any SHTF scenario where I have to use my coins for bartering etc, what the fuck do I do with my silver? How can I liquidate large quantities of silver in a country with no mints or pawn shops?

>Silver then moons and spot price is now €500 per oz. Why would any coin shop give me money for that?
Why wouldn't they? Silver mooned from like €4 in the 90s to wherever it is now and people pay money for it.
Gold mooned from from like $30 bucks to $1600 yet people see no problem.

Haven't looked into it too much myself, but there's chatter about fund managers dumping PMs for quick cash in order to meet margin calls. This also relates to "paper" PMs for which there seems to be way more versus the physical underlying. Alot of people already know about silver being undervalued and alot of smart money has cash waiting on the sideline and may jump at the bit. Image what would happen if Buffet announces that he's buying silver, there's your moon mission right there. Now think about how many other rich fucks have just as much money as Buffet. The market could be gone in a blink. This is the mentality. A few bux wont change anything once the great silver mooning happen. It just suck because we could have purchased a lil more silver with lower prices, but that's it. It's like complaining you purchased your BTC for $20 instead of 17, the end result is still you winning big time later on.
There are so many reasons to be bullish with silver. Between the chinese and russian central banks stacking, JP morgan hoarding it like crazy, the insane gold:silver ratio, the many industrial uses in new techs and big pharma, the unique properties of the metal, the ridiculous COMEX manipulation via futures & ETF, the rarity of the metal in earth crust, the lack of confidence in the current fiat system, the constant QEs pushing everybody out of holding cash and forcing investing in assets...

But at the same time... a little voice in my head tells me :
>"listen fren, if silver is so cheap now, it's because energy is cheap. Silver is nothing more than the cost of it's extraction, the cheaper the energy, the cheaper silver will get. If energy become expensive, you win, but if cheaper alternatives are found, or some tesla-tier technology of infinite energy is discovered.. you are fucked big time".

I'd much rather pay 89 cents over spot than a couple bucks on other stuff though

High IQ but silver =/= energetic cost of extraction
No future tech without silver
Mines are severely depleted. I’d agree that if silver was infinite supply it would just be the sum of its extraction cost but it is finite supply, there is a infinite energy device already, and it uses silver.

>> No.17522440

You can test the bars fren, you have a little machine who test the density of the metal, i don't remember the name but every jeweler owns one. You can either buy one or befriend a jeweler and ask him to loan it to you for a day.

>>17522372
Yes the supply is finite, just like anything on this planet, but pretty big overall. I mean big enough for the industrial uses, but if it become once again a store of value it surely will moon to unfathomable levels.

>Mines are severely depleted
Yes, but you should keep in mind 100% silver mines are very rares (mostly in Mexico if i remember), and count only for a fraction of the whole silver extracted. Most of it come from copper mines, because silver veins are mostly present close to copper. As a byproduct, as long as extracting copper is worth it, silver will be too and wont ask much specific effort to get extracted. That's why i'm saying it's related to the cost of energy more than anything for the moment. But if the demand grow up, copper mines wont be enough to provide for silver, and at this moment we have a problem : either we open new silver mines, but where, and at what cost? or the price moon.

>> No.17522644

>>17522504
Well based on this my local bullion guy probably is testing the bars with one of these machines right?
It seems pretty legit I figure if they were selling fake bars someone would be posting bad reviews and they wouldn't have been around for 25 years... Right?

If you're trying for bartering currency just get 40 or 90% junk silver or silver shot. Copper is like $5 a lb and there's tons of scrap copper all over the place. No, copper is everywhere, what make silver so great is how rare it is. In the earth crust you have 0.075 grams of silver per metric ton. Try to figure how much energy, water and machinery is needed just to produce one oz when you have a 75/1 000 000 000gr extraction ratio.
This is why silver is the most undervalued commodity on this planet.

Gold is a currency (it's nothing else). More recently (since 1973) it is kept as a reserve by almost all countries. Russia, China, Turkey and India are buying a lot of gold recently to get off the US dollar train.

Gold doesn't correlate to natural disasters, pandemics or war. Gold correlates to real interest rates and especially to the instability of other major currencies.
If there was such a mentioned crisis, gold would be literally useless. So would stocks, bonds, US dollars, luxury goods (including properties) and pretty much everything else beside the absolute necessary goods like clothes, food, oil, weapons or even alcolhol, women and tobacco. Currencies only work in a civilized world and gold is historically the ultimate currency. It shines, it's rare, you can't reproduce it and it's likely that the market cap is almost reached.
If let's say people lost all their faith in paper money (not an unrealistic scenario with all this money printing), then you could probably buy entire suburbs with just a bar of gold.

Interesting, the page is blank for me unless I hop onto an australian VPN.

I would usually recommend a pile of smaller (~1 oz) coins before a big loaf, since they will be theoretically easier to split up or use for small transactions in a post-fiat scenario.

But I went straight for a loaf too. And I think the perth cast 1kg bars are fucking sick so please go for it and post pictures.

If you're new to investment, it's better to go for Gold. It's easier to throw around, less volitile and (generally) a better chance of going up. Obviously for the sake of diversification (not putting your eggs in one basket) it's easy to say both, but if it comes down to making a choice, Gold is great to learn the basics of the market with.
Gold's in a highly likely bear trap right now (which in short means a dip before a surge - bull meaning a surge and bear meaning a slack; a trap meaning a false dip indicator) and has been historically the safest investment you can make full stop (since, in simple terms, your paper money and coinage is simply a ease of use middle man for the price of your currency against gold). Obviously there are a multitude of other factors, but put simplest, if shit looks like it's getting unstable with the economy, then Gold will go up in value (since bonds, stocks, crypto and currency etc is all a middle man dancing around the price of gold - cutting the middle men means less chance of growth, but also an equally less chance of relative monetary loss). With Corona being what it is and kicking the shit out of the supply chain, Gold has already experienced a small peak; but the fact it's licked the ceiling of $1600/oz has a lot of people saying that $2000 is almost guaranteed now (since, when it hit that, it showed a definite line in the markets where things are a little too volitile).

Silver on the other hand needs a bit more thought behind it. Lke Gold, it's a backing metal (so currency is based on its general price), however since it's not Gold (which people are more confident in), more common and is subject to VAT, it's more volitile. This mean that, although it's cheaper and you'll get more bang for your buck, you have a much lower chance of making a gain on your investment (especially due to that oppressive 20% VAT). This means, to make more than your relatively put in, you need to get in and out with a difference of 120% on your investment. On top, due to there being more entitlements to Silver out there, unless you have it in your hand, Silver is more subject to the economy (whereas Gold is more ignorant) - fun fact, there is less than half the amount of Silver, total, on planet earth than there is promised in entitlements. However, due to its afforementioned commonality, if SHTF really hard, Silver could very well spike high (since it's easier to trade around and thus in higher demand) - think of it this way, you use $5 notes more than you do use $100 notes in daily life; so which is more valuable to you if you had an equal amount of each? Silver is the $5 to Gold's $100 in this example. On the flipside, due to its more common industrial usage, if industry gets kneecapped, then it'll plummet. In this example, switch $5/100 with 1 cents coins and 1 dollar bills - the dollar is more useful in life

tl;dr You don't need to really watch gold to make money, only when to sell it off to make maximum money. On the other hand silver (other metals moreso) requires a more attentive process, and thus isn't as good for beginners. Spend a few hundred/~a grand on small coinage gold, then diversify between silver and gold coinage/loaf as you please once you have a better understanding of how it all works. Investing in either is never a 'bad' idea, provided you have it in your hands. As long as you have *something*, you'll have more than 99.99% of people.

I was the one asking about 10% over spot at local pawn. They do have a tester and test every piece coming in. They'll also test when you buy if you desire. Got some generic rounds liberty bell and buffalo for $18 a piece and 2 mint coins ase and maple for $21 a piece. So not too shabby for a pawn, only slightly higher for the mints than online

Thoughts on Mike Maloney? Is he to be trusted? Is goldsilver.com a good dealer?

I watched his series on the "Hidden Secrets of Money." I already buy precious metals but what I want to know is if it's bullshit and nothing more than a sales pitch or if it has real value in its own right.

We don't deserve Mike Maloney. He's honest and humble. He gives things away like his book for FREE on his website. This man is a prophet speaking to an insane crowd that refuses to listen.
He has succeeded thought by over coming his disability to start a /biz/ness. That's something 99% of this board will never amount to. Ever.
