Making it means at least 100x gains for most people here. The most you could hope for as a bear is like 2-3x. You're not going to make it either.

Volume is crashing. The price is currently quite irrelevant. People aren't selling in large numbers, that already happened. We may drop another 10%, it doesn't matter. Volume continues to drop, so we will see a bounce in a few days.

>> No.17520771

>>17520750
Why would the price go up if volume is dropping?

>> No.17520803

>>17520140
so anon what was i supposed to see?

>> No.17520872

>>17520771

It's a signal that people aren't panic selling any more. The initial drop was huge. Like 50 billion BTC volume in 1 day. Now, we're at what? 20? Less? And the price isn't going down very much. We keep seeing higher lows. This means that not only are less people selling, the people buying are moving up their buys because they are worried the coins will take off again without them having bought in. Naturally this results in people going full FOMO, resulting in a rebound.

The real questions are
>how hard will we rebound?
>how far will we fall after?

If you get good at predicting these things, you can easily increase your stack relatively safely by 10, 20 or even 40% on the really big swings. The main thing you have to keep in mind is that you need to keep your greed in check. Don't try to sell tops, sell trend confirmations. Don't try to buy the absolute bottom, buy in at acceptable profits. That way you don't get rekt easily or as hard. Losses can be recouped if you manage them.

>We keep seeing higher lows
it's making a lower low as we speak

>> No.17520968

Are we really? Volume is less than 1/4th of a few days ago and the price is barely moving. I don't see it dropping another 500 convincingly.

i know.. i think i will stop browsing /biz/ for a while, every day for the last month i have just lost money, i have an awful low leverage long position on BTC at +10K entry, liquidation is 6.8K..

Even if we "bounce back" the market would still look like shit, there is no scenario where we could go to 10K in this month without it being an obvious short, any consolidation and support we have made on the way up has been wiped out on this downtrend - literally no support at any point between 10500 and 8500.

i thought it would consolidate at the previous plateau at 9.2-9.5K, and then it would eventually continue with the uptrend - i did believe that the bear market that has been going on for the last two years was over.

I was wrong.. also, i only trade with the trend because i don't set stop losses, so far i have had great success with this because you don't get have to worry about sudden volatility to trigger you sl.
only problem is when the trend reverse or you misinterpret the macro trend (which i may have done in this case)...
