Then the incidence of Corona Virus outbreak outside of China grew, as well as China being hamstrung by the virus causing the stock market to plunge - the Crypto market followed..

I am not sure crypto is "digital gold" in the context of how it perform relative to the stock market.. i don't know where we are (i am in my room.. but still).

What seems more likely to me is a scenario where central banks inject gazillions to keep the economy on the brink of collapse, causing massive inflation. They can't inflate the supply of crypto currencies though.
