this is just a retarded statement and you know this.

he acts exactly like a conman with the whole claiming to be the creator of bitcoin and asks you to buy his new coin, literally screams red flags

Same. Is it economically possible for the $ from BTC/ETH/etc. to move over to BSV, crashing BTC/ETH/etc. while simultaneously increasing BSV price?

I think a $50 BSV is possible if everything else crashes but I don't know, it seems possible that BSV could rise whilst everything else drops

>> No.17471711

>>17470806
unlikely, but we'll just have to see what happens
the way I see it, there are three major things which will affect prices in the upcoming time period:
1) global currency crisis, things are collapsing everywhere as we speak
2) BTC halving and miners becoming more aware that BTC is a dysfunctional shitcoin, and also that their mining compensation model is broken (not based primarily on tx fees like Satoshi envisioned)
3) Craig starting to move Satoshi coins around, and possibly dumping a lot of BTC
depending on exactly when these occur, as well as the order, BSV price could tank together with the rest or flip everything completely immediately
hence why I just put my savings in regardless of price; the value of money is expected future productivity, so you ultimately have to invest your savings in what you believe will be able to buy you goods in the future

Yeah it's definitely going to be worth much more than $230 in the long run, but I'd prefer buy $500 worth at $100 than at $230. But I guess that's the whole point of investing and everyone does their own TA or superstitious indicators

>> No.17473440

>>17473293
never made that claim, miners just keep mining BTC because it's still more profitable, but think of it as them nervously looking at each other and thinking about what a total shitcoin it is and who will be the first to abandon ship

>> No.17473505

>>17473440
lol no, they know only bitcoin is a reasonably sure piece on the board.
top10 shitcoins come and go come and go only bitcoin remains no1.
i'm not saying miners can't be nervous but hashrate indicates they are heavily invested in it and renewing their commitment with the new batch of 7nm miners.

not even remotely true, as evidenced by ViaBTC shifting more and more hash into BSV already as it's getting more profitable
miners still have the mindset of just mining whatever is more profitable, but at a certain point they will reach the conclusion that what will be most profitable over a certain horizon will no longer be BTC due to it being a dysfunctional and broken shitcoin, whereas everyone is building on BSV, which already scales and has solved all blockchain problems aeons ago (naturally, since it's spearheaded by Satoshi himself, and actually works as intended)
BTC will not retain its lead for very much longer, thinking otherwise is like vehemently defending MySpace as the number one social media platform while Facebook is about to steamroll it, it's really not even close
also, by your last line, you clearly don't understand, miners will be shifting their hash rate from BTC to BSV, this doesn't affect their hardware investments at all
