I just graduated as a Financial Advisor. Does anyone have ideas on what i will be doing if i get a position in a firm as a Financial Advisor? What if i am self employed. What should i know?

I think you're asking the wrong question. I think you should be saying "I want to be doing X,Y, and Z. what's a job that will pay me for doing that?" For example i want to manage people's money and create portfolios for them and then from there found a job that does that.
