BTC fundamentally cannot (in its current state) handle transactions as simple as sending one dollar from one person to another. The transaction fee is so high it makes a $1 transaction unfeasible. Think about that for a second.

Bitcoin is the only coin that matters.The base layer doesn't need to scale AT ALL. At this point it can process few hunderd thousands of transactions per day.
What will be used for normal transactions is things like LN, paypal, visa which will adopt BTC.
When you pay with Visa it's not like the transaction was cleared instantly, it's not like Bitcoin transaction at all.
There's nothing as secure as Bitcoin, nothing even compete. No hardforking means safe main code = no changes in monetary policy and noone standing behind the project who may change their mind EVER.
I just got this realization and guess I'm gonna become BTC maximalist.
