Actually read whitepapers and understand what you're buying, invest based on something you see actually having more value in the future, and you don't have to be smart enough to build it yourself to know if the fundamentals are solid. Hold for the long term and don't keep trying to time the market or you'll lose in the long run. Don't take /biz/ at its word many anons actively want you to fail. Study more than just crypto, look into traditional investments. Most importantly make a plan. Set financial goals, and how much you need to make and in what time frame to actually achieve them. Those plans will also help you choose which investments are necessary and right for you.

Also there's nothing wrong with beginners using binance or coinbase.

OP ill be honest, I do own a small amount of what this anon is shilling but i do not recommend you try and buy any, for a number of reasons.
#1: you know far too little about blockchain right now to make an informed decision on a rank 100 coin like QNT
#2: it is reasonably difficult to understand IDEX for a newfag, took me at least a month or two before i got comfortable with decentralized exchanges

If you're browsing /biz/ and see a random coin being shilled a lot, look it up on CoinGecko (or CMC, but use CG instead), and see what the price was 1-3 months ago. Chances are it was the bottom at that point, or at least much cheaper than it is now. In other words, you're being played by shills who loaded up at the bottom and want to pump their coin so they can dump on you. This is the case 99% of the time. Remember this, learn more about cryptocurrency, invest in legitimate projects in the space, and you should be okay.
