Hey OP. In a similar shtick. I honest to god believe we're in a simulation or a video game or something. Doesn't matter what we do, everything is trying to constantly fly off the fucking handles, but we wake up every day everything's the same. How? I've recently realized that the true beauty of life is that you're free to create your own purpose. It may be harder to find your true purpose in this modern world of depravity and filth, but times of darkness also allow a noble spirit to shine at its brightest. Keep looking for that purpose anon! It might be a good idea to start by looking for what's most important to you.
