The authors are well known, it's an interesting finding.

However, they also proposed mitigation strategies. So at the end of the day, not a huge issue.

And by the way, there are several other papers that also propose attacks on lightning. This will only help in hardening the system.

every code has bugs, thats why it is still beta or alpha version and very limited.
