nah, the only reason you'll grind is by choice. You don't have to grind at all for the main quest or sidequests. You only need to grind if you want to 100% it, but that's the case with every game

Not at all. Game is well balanced. Combat system is clunky at first but opens up a few hours in once all of the chain attacks are opened up. Battling is actually fun and makes you want to keep grinding. Pretty good music too.

yeah. I don't play video games much either...haven't even turned one on in over 6 months but Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was one of the best and most fun experiences ever. It was well done all the way around. All the criticisms I see leveled at it involve anime but I've never watched an anime in my life and enjoyed the hell out of this game

But XC2 is the comfiest shit you'll ever play, it unironically "cUrEd mY DePrEsSiOn". It has an amazing story, a really fun party and the combat is super good for a jrpg
