Insider here. Don't be too hyped about tomorrow's fireside chat. This will be the beginning of something really toxic for the whole chainlink operation, the truth is that the team doesn't stand united behind Sergey anymore. And Ari is kind of leading the counter movement against Sergey's tyranny. For example, after acquiring TownCrier he sized down the whole operation quite a bit and cut funding for it by over 80%. There couldn't be done any practical development on the SGX front because many devs were cut or left because of a drastic pay cut. And Ari wasn't a fan of this move by Sergey as it was his baby in many ways. Other chainlink team members joined Ari in his rebellion and voices against the dubious leadership of Sergey have been growing louder and louder in the last couple of months. As of now it seems like there's already a well organized camp around Ari that will take on the Chainlink Core team (remaining Nazarov hard liners) and attempt to fork Chainlink and work on their own iteration of a decentralized oracle network with a more "open" policy (less KYC and restrictions) and more focus on integration the integration of key features like TEE compatibility. This conflict will be displayed very obviously tomorrow and one interesting point that Ari's right hand man told me a few hours ago is that this will be not a normal fork where 2 tokens will coexist with the same total supply. In fact the "Chainlink 2.0" crowd will mint their own development supply and then a contract will be created where the community can decide on which project they want to support. It will be a swap contract where you can "sell" your LINK for LINK 2.0, the LINK will be auto sold on DEXs like uniswap (for development capital of LINK 2.0) so you literally have to pick a side. Take care marines, whatever side you may end up on.

I wonder how can you fork a proof of stake coin. I mean it is erc20 token currently, but for a fork you have to have miners migrate to the new protocol. So can you explain a "brainlet" here how its going to work with link?
