Starting by Feb 17 there will be a dump and everything will retrace *at least* 25% down.
Shitcoins staling will go even lower than now.
Then all shit will start again the next pump.
This makes me question about buying other shitcoins at this point, and i'm considering about closing the less comfy positions.
On the other hand if my assumptions are wrong i will lose gains on the positions i've opened and so on.
What do you feel about anons?

Stop trying to outsmart the market in such a short term. The idea is to buy and hold as long as it takes. You will get chopped up with that greedy thinking.

There are choices i MUST take about some shitcoins i bought in the past and that have barely recovered, in that case there's no fomo or greed, in a falling scenario i'm shure they would go even lower, increasing the losses, this it's just risk management.

If your alts have fallen substantially, your mistake was buying too early. If the buy in price is generally a tonne lower than ATH's you just hold until the big show occurs.

Having said this, even if you bought the alts at previous highs, you should probably just wait until the big show also..

The only reason not to hold to new highs is if the coin has some sort of fatal flaw and is destined to go the way of Quark.

Probably this it's just some shitcoin i took in may-june, everyone makes mistakes.

For the other alts, i got, i didn't take profits in june and i regret it, because i lose all the gains and had no money to buy more in october, i could have doubled my actual capital, maybe even more.

Yeah if it is an issue with the coins themselves it would probably be good to sort that out. Of course the shittiest of shit coins are high risk/high reward.. But I think it is a universal that it is highlly beneficial to have some solid coins that guarantee you a stake in the next bull market. Of course peoples portfolios should be catered to their individual money situation.

Realize that this market is extremely volatile. That fomo thinking you could have multiplied your stack however many times... everyone thinks that. If this were a more traditional market there wouldnt be so many 100%-10%-%100 swings. Its almost exclusive to crypto. The markets are literally coordinated by ai to try to make you sell and buy at the worst possible times. Buy where theres value, and you wont be susceptible to the mood swings.

Look at ETH or LINK for the past 3 months. Do you think well ever see $120 ETH or $1.50 LINK again? Imagine if you sold your stack at $170 or $2.00 trying to double it. Imagine the rest of us leaving without you.

In the long term you're right, mid term you're not.
When i realized that market was definitely going down i could have taken the profit (even if not at ath) and bought later, increasing the amount of with the same qty of money.

Swing trading on a brief period like this can be dangerous instead, so you're right.

I didn't get into altcoins until the previous top in December 2017 so suffice it to say I don't know what the fuck I'm doing at this stage in the market cycle.
I plan on closing my margined longs on XRP and RVN by Sunday, probably, but keeping the rest of my unleveraged bags (which makes up basically all my capital).
