Even if the unknown is some "powerful" AI, you still need the human interaction to know who programmed it and what the parameters were. So you have responsibility and accountability there.
Just because data comes from, what you call, a "centralized" source, doesn't mean it's not usable. As long as there's monetary incentive involved, as long as there's genuinely something at stake of value for an individual, something that can be lost, you get good data in the long run. The literal opposite is true in a system of no responsibility, of peak dilution of investment & accountability. The fucking absolute state of brainlet "investors" on this board.
