Anon, you are not a loser, you just have a stupid gamblers fallacy mindset. You need therapy to understand that IT EITHER HAPPENS OR IT DOESNT. YOU NEVER DID ANY OF THE SUCCESSFUL TRADES YOU REGRET. IT NEVER HAPPENED. NEVER CLOSE. 0 PERCENT CHANCE OF IT EVER HAPPENING. NEAR MISSES DO NOT EXIST

say it with me anon
>THERES NO SUCH THING AS A NEAR MISS

I used to spend dozens of bitcoins on mdma pills back in like 2012. Who cares? I was never gunna hodl, it wasnt a near miss, it never happened. So get out of the gambling addiction mindset and focus on your next move. It never happened. Whatever you are regretting in the past, it never happened and it was never going to happen. Focus on the future

>> No.17201822

>>17201785
Absolutely based post. Back in the day there was NO WAY to know that bitcoin would end up reaching about 19k. Same with Eth.

>> No.17201856

trading shitcoins before enterprises came in to legitimize the space with blockchain focus, and stable trustworthy exchanges became established, was a completely different space, so much has happened in only five years, if you think crypto is scammy now it used to be way scammier

Cont. Heres my story anon

>be me
>started a utube channel at 16
>brother was telling me about bitcoin when it was worthless
>brother was borderline autistic and told me to buy when it was worthless
>too autistic to actually buy it himself he just liked researching it
>meanwhile i love money so coulda realistically bought loads for a laugh
>since im a gambling addict i woulda loved the rush of buying shite and seeing it rise or even the dream of it rising, only had 100GBP at 16 tho so never did it
>meanwhile at 18 got hundreds of thousands of subs on YT
>got similar size channels talking to me over skype etc
>i get lazy and drink a lot
>stop trying so hard
>these guys now have many millions of subs
>i got em on snapchat theyre living it up in penthouses in london
>meanwhile im in debt, broke, and an alcoholic

OMG LOL I was so close. Lol nah it just never happened. My life trajectory was always going to play out like this. i can work on my life right now, and I am, but this is my trajectory.

Takeaway point anon, everyone has near misses. Near misses with happiness, wealth, whatever it is they regret. It doesnt mean it was ever gunna happen though. Gambling addict mindset. Just focus on the future and then you wont have as many regrets. Preferably not gambling addiction on crypto and then relishing all the trades you missed and forgetting about all the decent trades you actually won

OP u got some growing up to do man, im assuming youre 18 or 19 right? didnt read all ur greentext

Extremely based.

If something you sold, or once held, or something you even thought about buying, spikes straight to the moon, and you didn't have any, then there's nothing you can ever do about it.

That's already done, the spike is over, no matter how much you regret it or cry about it, the profits to be made were already made. This is spilled milk you can't unspill anymore.

Forget it and move on.

OP here. Just read all of your responses and it actually made me feel a little better. You are probably right. I just don't have the risky kind of personality. Even if I had a million Dollars so spend, I would still be too scared to lose it and not invest it. I am just too afraid to take risks. Guess I will have to make money the hard way or try to change my mindset.

because alot of people consider themselves priced out by now. Being a poorfag and having say 100$ a month to invest... ok get 40 chainlink or put 100 into something like eth or even bitcoin. when I was getting my ass kicked financially months ago I would have almost no money to invest in crypto and so I didnt invest in a bunch of really good tokens that looking at now wish I did even tho I would have barely any

Here’s my ‘office’ for validation btw. Gambling slips everywhere, vodka everywhere. I had a chance to buy bitcoin when it was worthless and I was (and still am if I sort my life out) on course to be a millionaire if I buckle down. Do I think about the past? No. And that’s not a cope, I just know it was never gunna happen but I can employ change RIGHT NOW. And so can you. Take positive steps right now. With a gambling addict mindset trading might not be for you but do positive things in the present and you’ll be fine

>> No.17202079

I can hardly fault anyone for never imagining bitcoin could become so valuable - i remember first hearing about it at $2 and by the time I got round to trying to buy it it had doubled so i didn't bother, figuring i'd missed out kek

but now we've seen what is possible in crypto, you've got no excuse.

I was around from the start with bitcoin. Before it was worth anything. Literally cents. per coin

Anyway it played out exactly how you think it did

>oMG LOL bitcoin is at 30 cents wtf
>omg 3 dollars!!!
>WOW BITCOIN HAS MOONED AT 30 DOLLARS
>then it crashed or something if i believe
>welp thats the end of it, it is drug money after all and nothing else
>check back sporadically over months
>eventually at 20k
>wtf.jpg

The moment I knew it was over was when my coal mining uncle started talking to me about bitcoin. He knows nothing about technology at all. My friends all started buying it because they thought itd make them millionaires, they were buying it at 20k a pop

Sound like anything familiar? a bubble. it had a minor pop. In my opinion crypto is entirely a bubble as it stands and unless youre a genius that can ride the waves and HODL and cash out at the prfect time, riding the cryptos as newer and better ones develop then its not a worthwhile endravour.

If you are investing into crypto as a get rich quick scheme its likely youve lost. Just my 2 cents anyway
