Something I didn't notice before was that the dump from just shy of 10200 to 9700 created hidden bullish divergence on the 4h chart.
However, after this pump beyond 10200, regular bearish divergence exists on 4h, 6h, 8h. You could even add in 12h, but they're all use the same two peaks.
Don't be surprised if Bobo gets a little revenge.

BTC has to break the Oct 26 high at 10500. After that it will probably go to 12k easily, but a rejection could be devastating.

Past halvings have caused a miner capitulation due to miners becoming unprofitable due to production costs doubling on them. However, after the capitulation is over, it tends to pump to reach cost of production and then overshoot it. The cost of production after halving is estimated to be around $17k.

If you want to learn more about miner capitulation, check this out.

This guy @capriole_charles has written some articles on this topic too. He's a pretty smart dude, and I highly recommend listening to what he has to say.

>> No.17189596

The current cost of production is somewhere between $5k and $7k so we're a bit overvalued now. I think what's happening this time is the halving is being frontrun.

no, mining in russia, china or iceland is way cheaper

>> No.17189669

>>17189621
Sure. To be fair doubling the $5k to $7k range should give us $10k to $14k as the cost of production. I read $17k from some tweet weeks ago, but I don't remember who it was.

the biggest cloud mining provider offers bitcoin mining over 2 years for 4100€ per mined bitcoin (most expensive package, cheapest is 5800).

they wont calculate with a loss so it must be even less expensive for them to mine them.

>> No.17189781

>>17189740
That's good to know. I was going off of what the stock to flow indicator was telling me, but not all miners are created equal. The best miners are probably far more efficient than the average.

In a few days we'll have a golden cross.
Back in Oct 26th, we had a death cross and we pumped hard into it which surprised a lot of people.
Then we dumped.
It wouldn't be weird for it to dump into the golden cross and then pump like a monster, doing the inverse of Oct 26th. This current bull has been running since Dec 18th. He's gotta be getting tired.

We shall see.
