OP is actually not wrong, lookup what a squeeze is and look at their stock. Its pertty clear but the pump went from ~150% (2006) -> ~85% -> (2011) and now we might see something like 30-70% pump. I plan on exiting after holiday sales before earnings. I'm sure consoles will do great, how that translates into GME's earnings I'm not sticking around to find out. Sell the rumor.

I was on the fence on waiting until this quarters earnings before buying in, but console presales are set to open up (rumored) in March before the call, so I wasn't sure how those would offset eachother, and I was happy with current valuation so I just said fuck it and got in around 3.70.

Lets say if the stock is trading at $4 and all the shares are borrowed (short) and someone holds the whole entire supply up at $20 and then the people that lent out the shares go "hey, we want our shares back" the borrowers (the shorts) will go and buy from the market... but wait, the lowest seller is at $20........ What happens? They HAVE to buy the shares back to pay back their debt but the lowest seller is at $20.. What happens?
