I am not in crtx yet. I guess you could time that better. They have a phase2/3 ongoing for quite a while, and they already had the biggest catalyst as far as their science goes, which is making a connection with apoe4 and p.gingivalis. Also, their market cap is almost 1.5bil, so there is less to gain than on sava. However it's success is pretty much granted in the end, all the way for fda approval. It's a safe 3-4x at least in a few years, if they have enough cash to go through. I haven't checked that yet.

No bust the grout up between the tile then work underneath the tile to pull it off the wall. You might break a few but should be able to save most of them. No resin to start smashing until you find the source of the leak, then you’ll have to break through the wall and grab a flashlight to spot the pipe it’s coming from. If you can’t figure out if the pipe is copper, pvc, cpvc or pex then just buy sharkbite fittings that will work for all them to join pipe together. Cut out the leaking piece, buy pipe to replace, join pipe together with collars/elbows(90’s) and solder/glue/sharkbite fittings it all together. Boom leak fixed. Now all you need to do is patch your broke through wall with dry wall then dry wall putty the cracks and screw holes and then Remud your tile back on.... or you can do something else for a different look like just drywall or wood or stone or different looking tile

Okay I'm looking at and basically I sell the put spread and get x premium. If he price of the stock moves up, it costs me less than the premium I originally received to close the trade hence the profit. If it moves down it costs me more to close up to the entire premium I received at which point my loss is capped. Conceptually the end result looks really similar to a bull call spread so I must be missing something subtle here. What exactly am I missing cuz I don't see how the difference amounts to anything.

Don't touch your shower. If you insist on checking it, get an endoscope camera, drill a small hole in your closet drywall and look inside the wall. Hopefully there isn't insulation in it so you can see inside the whole thing. Even taking out a section of drywall would be preferable to destroying the tile.

Having to redo your shower will be an expensive pain the the ass that will probably take you like 100 hours and cost well over a $1000. Even the glass alone can be that expensive, then you have to include the tile and waterproofing. There's a reason why contractors charge so much of it.

Well basically this whole side of the house was added on by the DIY type that used to own the house. I don't know that anything's leaking except that there used to be copper pipes but I think those were replaced. The issue is the shower is just a showerhead that hits the floor and it pools up instead of being pitched to run down the drain. So I have to squeegee it down the drain every time I shower. At one point the tiles started leaking through the wall to my closet, and my uncle came in and replaced that wall, and we put a bunch of this sealant crap down in the edges and the grout and that seemed to stop the leaking but all that's starting to wear out now

basically probably not leaking pipes, just an old shitty diy tile job

not that anon, but i also do some form of this. when i was extremely obsessed with learning TA i would often get high and look at charts with different indicators on different settings for hours and hours and hours. for about half a year after i got into stocks, i quite literally did nothing besides fulfilling my basic human functions (eat/sleep/shit/etc), go to work, and look at charts/research all sorts of different FA and TA strats which I would then test the shit out of. i would get high and constantly try to think of what i could use to avoid losses and optimize gains as much as possible for any given trading day on any given stock. i was very OCD about it and it was pretty much all i did, i found it so fun (i still do) that i stopped playing video games and other activities like that for a long time. trying to make money off of stocks was just a way more fun and interesting video game to me.

i've since figured it out so i don't do it as much as anymore, but it certainly helps you think outside of the box. i wouldn't trade while high in real time but it's great for backtesting.

I wasn’t thinking this was the actual shower walls. So scratch using just drywall or wood from what I said before.

Yeah sounds like a bad tile job. You’re most likely going to have to replace the drywall under your tile, make sure to replace it with mold resistant drywall. Then putty it, sand it and paint it. Then retile your shower. Make sure to seal up all the edges good. You can put silicone caulking sealant on the edges. As long as there is no mold, you could try resealing your wall like you did before with silicone caulking. Also for your floor, you could tile it too and when you mud for tile you can angle it to slope your flirt into the drain

profitable in the sense that it helped me with understanding how price moves, yeah. like i said i don't actually trade while high. understand that a lot of the effort that goes into creating a system based on indicators to trade on is up-front. it takes an absurd amount of time and energy most people are not willing to put into it, but once you figure it out, you pretty much just run your system with your predetermined risk and scaling out price points, and you get the fuck out of the way of it (you don't try to second guess it and rely on probability making you profitable over a statistically significant sample size worth of trades).

the thing that fucks up most people in trading is purely about psychology. indicators and mark douglass help a ton with that, but at a certain point it just comes down to practice and temperament.

Tradingview updated their watchlist design today. You can now ctrl-click multiple stocks and drag them around all at once. This is great. Now just let me cut/paste them instead of dragging and it'll be perfect.

all indicators do is frame the price action and volume over time in a certain way using math, making it easier and quicker to see at a glance. they're just an interpretation of that data. they aren't "magic lines", i wish the indicator naysayers would realize that. they're also really not difficult at all to backtest extensively these days considering how powerful computers currently are and how good the charting software is.

they aren't about being a definite thing, that's what risk management and discipline are for.

there's no such thing as a "definite thing" in the stock market. there are only high probability setups, nothing more nothing less. they can be discovered on any time frame, using anything from indicators to naked price action and volume patterns to FA and news catalysts and so on. all you're really trying to do is improve your odds to be better than a coin flip (i.e. if you flipped a coin each time you decided whether to go long or short on a trade), or better than 50/50 odds.

Ok honest question. My biggest issue with trading is knowing WHEN to lock in gains. I’ve had a couple moon missions, and most I get greedy and ride it out and barely take out my initial cost. This has saved me from completely obliterating my account, but also I have not been able to lock in profits due to drops.

Right now, for instance, I am up 250% on SNSS calls. I believe it will keep going up if good data is released, however, is it good practice to take out initial RIGHT NOW? I may miss out on substantial gains if I do so if it crosses my break-even ($1.09 at this point) threshold, my position will skyrocket.

>>17172891
I’m betting it’s gonna fly past $1.50 once data comes out (IF positive)...this isn’t an $8 bil company like AMRN dropping on drug approval, this is a low cap low float easy buyout target for a valuable treatment. Buyout could be $500 mil and still be nothing for prospective pharma company. This is why I’m struggling with my profit taking plan. I’m tempted to just let it all ride WSB style but this will be the fourth time I lose everything if I don’t take profits

What’s a good strategy? Take out initial at 200%? 300%? I am broke so it’s not like I will lose anything per se (have zero assets, no children etc) kinda perfect YOLO circumstances I guess

Take half profit at least right now. In general, even if you don't much care for TA, an indicator or two can help a ton with telling you when it's probably time to take your ball and go home. For instance, chaikin money flow set to 11 periods on the daily, when the line crosses and closes below zero line for the day you sell right before close or the following day. Works a charm. Chaikin is a little slower moving than a lot of other popular swing trading indicators and it'll give your stock space to range before telling you it's time to cheese it. Slap this on your charts and have a look (1day candles). It usually says hold on first sell off candle but will say sell if the rebound thereafter is weak.

Data will come out very soon. Option order flow suggests that it will be good. If so I will sell a few days after or asap depending on where it opens.
Snns will have no catalyst after this except a very spontaneous buyout. If it doesn't happen it will go sideways or drop back down. Offering probably in not all too far future. I will move to somewhere safe. Abeo or depending on the timing of snss maybe infi.

in that case you really can't go wrong with watching literally all of no nonsense forex's stuff. it's a project of his that he has actually recently completed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3CCCfI6qH8 so the channel is pretty much "complete" as of now. he mainly focuses on forex but also goes into things like metals, CFD's, ETF's, Oil, etc. i only trade stocks but developed my own system of indicators based on his "algorithm", if i make it i feel very indebted to him for any success i have. that channel quite literally formed the foundation of my trading education, which i then expanded upon on my own. really can't recommend it enough, he doesn't even sell anything (makes a strict point of never doing that, actually. to him this is just a public service because he saw forex education as being completely shit and was bothered with all of the scammers out there misleading people with cherrypicked examples of perfect setups).

of course, watch it yourself and form your own opinion. there's a playlist on indicators, psychology, and money management, and if you want to dig deeper the podcast is quite good. i particularly like the one on the reverse labouchere.

That's it. Market close, and I have a very important BASED announcement to make before you all leave. So please take a seat and Greta will get you a beverage or if you're famished after a long day of hardwork she's just put in some fresh tendies into the oven which will be ready shortly.

Going and increasing income or learning would have exponentially better effect. Stock picking as a whole is for fucking retards and doing it with low income will set you behind.

Do you anons think SOXL will hold its gains going into tomorrow to continue the climb or dip in the morning then starting climbing back? I know it was a strong close but I just would appreciate some opinions and then watch it tomorrow to see what actually happens. Trying to align my mindset with this market.

Ah, FUCK IT. I'm speaking my mind regardless. Another monday. Another day in the green. Another day of profits secured while the wagie's are handing out large fries for minimum wage. That's because we know that Cash IS Trash, yes, nothing more than worthless paper with meme numbers written on them. But stonks, well, now, stonks only go up. And if stonks only go up, then there will be an infinite loop of profitability in the future to exploit. But also, FUCK JANNIES FUCK NIGGERS AND FUCK FAGGOTS.

Then, I think AMD deserves the gains but I know how pullbacks happen from profit taking, I’ll watch for that and watch for it to go even higher. Nvidia is running on coming up earnings fumes so this is 50/50 for what I know, going to do some more research into this, AMD and the other stocks that are involved in SOXL. Thanks you’ve helped me wipe around 5% autist out of my brain. Someday I’ll get there...
