they said that at current hash rate any price below 7100$ is too low for make a profit for mining farms (there was an article in November/early Decembrer by a Canadian farm manager). It was about 3000$ at the end of 2018 and in fact it was the lower bound there as well. With the halving, and current hash rate, it would be about 8000*2 = 16k to keep btc profitable.
