I had a lot of deep, drunk conversations with 20-somethings with millions in the bank. Money doesn't make you feel perpetually happy or prevent you from feeling grief, anger, jealousy or whatever. But they could experience the best in life in every aspect - food, peace of mind, healthcare, travel, trivial shit like 5* suites, supercars, clothes etc. You can't imagine it until you've had a taste. Grandmother has kidney problems? Buy her a new one and set her up in a resort in St Lucia so she can recover in peace. That gives you a feeling beyond 'happiness'
