How is ZEC a shitcoin exactly? It's literally a fork of bitcoin with scalable privacy. What Moneroniggers wont tell you is that ringCT is expensive, and while bulletproofs greatly help, it still doesn't match the scalability of zk-snarks. zcash is a shitcoin because it is a centralized team, collecting a dev fee, with a shady origin. Why would you trust a privacy coin literally developed in israel? IT'S A BACKDOOR YOU RETARD. Additionally, Zcash is optional privacy, and a quick look at the transactions will show you that 99% of the transactions are not shielded, meaning an incredibly low anonymity set.

Monero's privacy is built into the base layer and therefore usable right out of the box. This is good for normies because they don't have to do extra research and have virtually guaranteed privacy.

And your inflation is trash.

development is always centralized, they just formalized it. Unless you have the keys to the Monero repo, you are trusting a centralized team of technocrats to make the decisions and write the software for you. It sounds like you're sipping the "We have no leaders" kool-aid, which I would argue didn't really work for BTC, but maybe you disagree. >DNM stands for Dark Net Market anon. Are you new?
you are theorizing that one dark net market that used monero is a "shady origin". I mean this is beyond retarded. On zcash's end, you had a coin developed by kikes. On the other, you have a privacy coin ACTUALLY BEING USED WITH A USE CASE.

Answer these questions: Why is it that zcash is not used at all on the dark net? Why is it that Monero's use on the dark net is prominent and rising (google white house market)?

And lastly, what are your thoughts on Zcash's annual 58% inflation?

>That's some Vitalik-level handwaving
except there is nothing to say that Monero is going to have difficulty scaling in the future as the tech improves. Second layer solutions like Tari are in development but as of now we have the superior privacy coin which is most important.

> I bought both on new years day and my ZEC has significantly outperformed
provably false based on charts and understanding econ. Again, you not understanding what a 58% annual inflation is going to do is a testament to how much of a retard you are.

It is
>Why is it that Monero's use on the dark net is prominent
Because AlphaBay blessed it with liquidity, after accumulating a bunch, and the rest of the dark web has subsequently sanctioned it, likely because it's the same people
>google white house market
I've seen it, it's very nice
>what are your thoughts on Zcash's annual 58% inflation?
It's a fork of btc and has the same schedule as btc inflation
>there is nothing to say that Monero is going to have difficulty scaling in the future as the tech improves. Second layer solutions like Tari are in development
Bitcoiners talked a lot about second layer in 2017. How much of that talk has manifested in a usable product for normies? Interestingly enough, the inventor of LN himself said that LN is not a silver bullet. Scaling is the main hurdle for any blockchain and zks is objectively more scalable

just because it doubled in price does not mean long term the value is going to look nice. It's a pump and dump coin based on asic hoarders first off, but second your value is depreciating at 58% per year. play with fire if you want but monero is the long term option and everybody who studies crypto gets this. All cryptos are getting pumped right now, so this is absolutely meaningless.

If you were smart at all you would dump your zcash and put it all in monero instead of eating that massive inflation. But you are a retard so whatever.

also zcash is not used on the dark net at all. you are talking out of your ass.

>Zero knowledge proofs are more private than ring signatures. This is a fact.

97% of zcash transactions are not shielded. This is a fact.

Monero's privacy is more than adequate and is usable out of the box. This is enormously beneficial to entice normies to use Monero. There currently exists no way of tracing Monero outside of fringe metadeta leaks from using a centralized exchange, but even in this case it is fool proof privacy.

>Because AlphaBay blessed it with liquidity, after accumulating a bunch, and the rest of the dark web has subsequently sanctioned it, likely because it's the same people

That's not what liquidity means. Alphabay was just the first usecase of monero, which helped build it's prominence in the dark net. Monero's liquidity is based on it being available on numerous exchanges.

Zcash has no use case. Nobody uses zcash for private transactions. Nobody uses zcash on the dark net. It is a pump and dump coin that is about going to get rekt by inflation and asic miners pumping and dumping.
