First of all, no. Never. There's a less than 0.3% chance of them copying BSV's winning formula, because they're like democrat cucks who never learn their lesson. They only lose, that's what they do. And then they double down on retardation. That works in politics, not business.
Beyond that, once BSV actually prove its succes 3-5 years from now, BSV will have a near unsurmountable first mover advantage in the data for dollars / big block market. BSV so hot right now I'm literally getting stiff just describing it.
There's also the matter of time. BTC can't just throw 200 devs at the process of updating the protocol. It would still take them at least a year to update everything without wrecking their system. Finally, nChain has everything valuable patented up the wazoo. I doubt Creg will give them enough to actually succeed.
