Of course nobody knows. If that was for sure, the actual price would be equal to the sum that would give you 1M in 5y with an increase of 2-3% for year.

Tl;dr: a safe business gives you less interest because it costs more when you buy it.

Yes. The bitcoin market is really small. Eventually it will reach a trillion dollars and a single bitcoin will be values at upwards toward $50,000.

So if this is true, why don't people put like 25k into bitcoin?

>> No.1712039

>>1711997
Because of technology block and inability to buy something with them conveniently.

Small market cap doesn't mean shit. Fucking Pokemon cards have a small market cap too. The only way Bitcoins can reach $50,000 per coin will be if China crashes or there is a doomsday scenario. Bitcoin speculators are nothing but tinfoilers.

Buy when the Yuan is weakening not strengthening. Now's not a good time because China is propping it up. Commodities like bitcoins are absolute shit when currencies rise.

How do you know how much people are dumping into it? I've heard of people dumping millions into it actually years ago. 3500$ is much money for a poorfag but many people can spend that sum easily. Also, given the fact that there are quite a few bitcoins out there, it is well possible that the true value of it actually lies somewhewere in the billions per coin. So the question is how quick the price will travel towards that point. Even if it takes fifteen years, I dump 3500$ into it and let it grow for fifteen years.

I see also a different trend that kinda worries me. More and more digital currencies appear. What if we have one billion different digital currencies to chose from in ten years? It is becoming so redundand. Can this weaken the Bitcoin. Can the Bitcoin go under in an ocean of digital currencies and loose value?
