17115016 No.17115016 [Reply] [Original]

I have been working on myself intensely for the last year. I've gotten pretty muscular, incredibly handsome, great sense of style, have eliminated all debts and saved around $70K.

But I have realized that despite all of this, working as a software engineer is not a Chad job whatsoever. Sitting in front of the computer all day sucks, you're just a glorified laborer.

Investment banking is just as shitty and requires a ton of time, lawyer/doctor is out of the loop since I'm too old (25), and the professions that I can think of are all out of reach or too risky to succeed in: gambler, investor, drug dealer, spy, etc.

So what are some Chad jobs?

>Low time commitment
>Masculine (boxer, athlete)
>Intellectual (author, politician)
>Powerful (executive)
>???

Turn it in to an IT consultancy and then hire a few college students/wagecucks

If you are actually Chad you will be able to motivate them with money and positive reinforcement. Make them feel actually valued (but hire white guys)

Don't dropship, that's a marketing service not a product business. Produce something. Start part time or wait until you have a new idea. Part time you can sell a new type of food or ethnic cuisine, very low cost of entry, low risk, learn the basics of supply chain, inventory, and marketing, keep your day job. Sell at farmer's markets on weekends (bonus meet people and network). Products get you out and into the world, almost universally. Out in the sun. If you have a new idea, prototype and put it on Amazon. Look up the bug assault fly gun on Amazon, solopreneur made millions on a fun way to kill flies. That's the fun way to money. Service based businesses are generally soul crushing even if lucrative.

"IT Consultancy" meaning what exactly? I could scale it and outsource the work but I'd still need to manage them and ultimately may not make as much as I do now + have more headaches when I can do it myself faster/better

>>17115404
True, any good resources on product manufacturing?

>>17115518
Dealing what? Selling weed is reasonable but takes too long unless you're dealing weight, in which case it carries tremendous risk. You have to move a lot if you're breaking it down to make decent money, which requires being "on call" too often

>>17115591
Chads tend to still do "something". Maybe it's not working for a living because they have loads of cash, but they still spend their time doing "something" for "work"

Resources... If you mean books then not exactly. However I recommend getting acquainted with the basics of accounting. Basically, learn how to create a balance sheet, a p&l sheet, and a one year projections sheet. Also a cost of goods sold sheet. These are the minimum requirements that any bank or lending institution will want to see you produce in order to justify a loan if you do get to the point of scaling. You can learn some pretty relevant accounting skills at your local SBDC workshops. After that, learning marketing skills is critical. That includes all aspects of branding, choices of colors, product photography, usage of fonts, logo, advertising design, banner design, brochures, naming themes, these kinds of things. Even if you hire out a professional graphic designer and a copywriter, you will still drive the vision. It's imperative that you develop the marketing vision. The graphic designer you hire will have to have an art style that comports with your vision anyways, and without a vision you won't even be able to select a graphic designer to work for you. Accounting and marketing are the cornerstones of almost any business, service or product, but certainly in product. The rest will come through experience. The best way to start is to start small, don't quit your day job yet. The benefit of quitting your day job is that you can't afford to fail, however for most people that benefit does not outweigh the risk. I think starting at a farmer's market is almost always ideal even if that is not your ideal product or industry - the lessons learned there in terms of marketing and sales are universal and can scale to any business. There are some good marketing books that you could read, and I have, although I'm not entirely sure how useful they were as compared to raw experience. "Hey whipple squeeze this" is decent. I really don't like to recommend books though, the act of reading the book feels like taking action when in reality that's an illusion.

Trader and/or investor since they require high risk and taking high risks is a sign of high testerone.
They can also pay very well, way more than any wagecuck profession if you know what you are doing. If you can't succeed in trading then you can't call yourself chad because that means you can't control your emotions.

The white tradesmen who become contractor/businessmen hybrids are some of the most esoterically Chad/ascended masculine archetypes I have ever been around - you end up interacting with government / ceo's and doing military contract construction... Yeah, that's pretty fucking Chad.

You idea of Chad seems pretty feminized in that you are trying to maximize your comfort and image rather than maximize what is possible and attaining actual power through connections, you have to decide what you are really trying to do

Try something customer service oriented. Everyone will love you as a muscular handsome stylish man. You can literally just ask people for money. Better yet, start a business in customer service. Hire people and train them to be as likable as you. If you are really likable as you say, they will just flat copy you. Let your employees handle the bulk of the business and only step in when you really need to customer to like you.
