The retail wage cage just cut my hours and obliterated my food budget. I need a better job if I want to have a place to sleep and also eat food. Literally what can I do?

I'm a 20 year old flyover fag, too poor for college. I have a high IQ and train easily, but nobody trains, so I have no marketable skills. This retail store seems to be the best job I can get, it's a half hour commute, the only jobs actually in my town are the post office and bank and neither are ever hiring.

Where is the booming economy people keep talking about? All I see in my future is starvation

if you are so high iq, why do you have problems escaping the slave caste and bottom of the barrel jobs like retail?

The economy doesn't care where you live, what you eat, what you like, who you are.

It would do you well to find out where you can leverage yourself best, by moving to a different area. Being a waged individual nowadays is mostly a losing path long term. Considered your income is capped by supply/demands, you pay higher taxes than businesses generally do, and many other reasons. I don't think you're the only one experiencing this, as the average single earner wage is about 60k here in the U.S. It should be considered to see how much money is being created (cash) from QE, and seeing how much of it is actually going to earners under 85k per year. This would indicate that if in fact the cash is not necessarily flowing to the lower end earners, it is flowing upwards, and so your cash is essentially being devalued, and it's value is being fractionalized, flowing more of the actual wealth upwards.

Cash is liquid and because of that you need to be to some extent also. You are part of an economy, not the other way around. Good luck, and seriously pick up some accounting, tax, and other finance related material. Take online courses and understand them. Armed with that knowledge you can navigate the economic landscape better.

Not midwest, but pretty much the same situation. State used to be a big oil producer, anyone could go work on an oil field and live wherever they wanted because it was 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. That's how I got rural in the first place. Gramps worked oil 2 weeks, lived in comfy forest in the middle of nowhere the other 2 weeks. Now he's retired, spent all his money, and there's no more oil.

I did this last year. Worked at the airport. I swear I was the only white guy in the whole terminal, heck, on that side of the city. I'd rather starve to death than go back to that shit hole.

there has always been people who made a lot of dollars for doing basically nothing, think of child actors in the 80s
they are a handful out of 320 million people so how does this have any point of reference?

This idiot doesn't know that all the information in the world is at his fingertips. All you have to do is good grades in college, learn to code via the internet and get hired after sending 500 applications to every single job. You don't even have to go to college if you've got a great github which anyone with high IQ can get.
If this idiot can't even get into a trade despite living in a rural area, or if he can't even farm because his retard ancestors didn't buy any land, then he deserves to starve. This isn't 1850.
Imagine having a white American grandfather and having nothing to show for it.
